Hey all,

As my valued public, I'm curious about what you'd like to see more of. I'll even let you vote as non-patrons! I'm just wondering if you'd like to see more of the old Q&A model, something new, a mix of those two options, or something not mentioned here at all (that you'd expand upon in the comments). Obviously, the book club will continue either way. Thanks!

I'm not sure about live gaming audio cos its a visual medium! But having NC twitch events where you play a game with a guest a la boringstein n zelda mod could be a cool thing to have on YT to supplement the pod. And I'll echo wanting more solo eps about Themes In Gaming but wouldn't mind if some weren't related to current trends, like a Heggies of Yore where you talk about formative gaming experiences.

Actually re gentle reader, I have been thinking about opening up the discord

I like it when you set aside time to talk about a game, with or without the broader context and philosophical grounding. Just "hey, so here's what I played, here's what I think" kind of stuff. Peace!

Pokemon episode? Does this exist already and I'm just overlooking it?

Episodes about different themes in games (pacifism, difficulty, player agency, etc.) have been my favorite episodes.

I like all the stuff you do, but I really liked the quick episodes you did in the show's beginning where you'd just pick a game and talk about it for 10 minutes or so. Those were fun and easy to listen to.

I wouldn't suggest this for any other podcasts really, but I think it'd be really neat if you did a bit where you respond to listeners questions/hot takes (maybe something like Real Good Show's listener questions bit).
