Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for your patience while waiting for this update. Consistently creating new JB chapters can be very demanding because this series requires a lot of care compared to the others. Every character, emotional beat, and fun event needs to feel meaningful and believable, while also laying the groundwork for future chapters. It often means going through countless rewrites to make sure everything comes together the way I envision it. I truly appreciate everyone who has stuck with me throughout this journey.
I'm also happy to say that this marks a major milestone. The remake has finally caught up to the original version! With that, the original release will no longer be available for download in the near future, allowing everyone to move forward with a single, definitive version of the game.
This chapter is the climax of Talia & Pete's arc. As I've mentioned before, it is drastically different from the original version. While the core premise remains, much of the story, character interactions, and major story beats have been completely rewritten. Everything you'll experience here is new, and I hope these changes create a stronger, more emotional journey that resonates with you.
The ending of this arc, in particular, went through what feels like a million rewrites. I spent a lot of time refining the dialogue, character interactions, and overall pacing because I wanted to present the best version of this story that I could crammed inside only a few chapters. I sincerely hope it resonates with you.

Why did you remove the affection system? Now we can't see what our choices do or what. Absolutely a terrible change!
Hi! I believe you're referring to the cheat system that shows what each choice does. That's from a modded version of the game. Pirated sites modify my game and redistribute it for free, often adding cheats like that to attract traffic and generate revenue for their websites. The official version doesn't include those features. That said, I do plan to release a Storyteller Mode in the future. In that mode, affection points won't matter, so you'll be free to pick any dialogue option you want while still being able to experience all the fun events.
