About conversion to AIR format
This game is created using Flash that's originally a web-based program, but there is a framework called AIR allows it working as an independent desktop/mobile application. I'm planning to convert this game to the AIR format from the next version.
(Note: Originally, AIR runtime is installed with the software on the PC like VB runtime, but I'll integrate it into the game, so it's not installed automatically.)
The reason why this is necessary is to avoid the negative effects of various securities. As you know, since the Flash vulnerability became a problem, many security tools like anti-viruses have been preventing this game's working. As we can already see the problem with Macintosh, even with Windows, there is no guarantee it'll be safe in the future. However, AIR formats are no longer programmatically Flash, so these security issues are expected to be greatly reduced.
Another reason is that it'll enable support for other OS and devices, but I'll explain about this later.
Next, the important thing is what will be changed by converting to AIR, it's mainly the following 2.
Functions of the Flash player, such as zoom-in/out and changing image quality will no longer be available.
Zoom-in/out is not the zoom mode in the game, but the one of the right-click menu. The image quality has been available using the button in the game, but this function will be disabled and the image quality will be fixed at high quality. The save data folder will be changed.
You need to copy the save files manually if you want to carry over the game settings. I'll inform you how to transfer the save data when the next version is released.
The game file is "touchthegirl.exe" as before, and there are currently no other changes to the game itself.
So, there is no benefit to those who're currently running the game normally, but I believe this is necessary for the future. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

I'm not going to make this game except with Flash. When it's no longer available, also this game will end.
Flash is also dead, so, best switch over.
Flash is still an active tool, although the name was changed to Animate.
no, you will have to start from scratch
Oh no, it's far from possible.
The security risk of installed AIR runtime is much higher than Flash, although I don't think there is any malware targeting AIR nowadays.
Funny thing is, I already have the AIR runtime installed for other reasons.
But I can't make you install AIR runtime on your PC today.
