In the beginning, I intended to only sell my works in the store, and have this place be just a blog to receive a small amount of support for my activities, because I expected that there would always be a debate about profit/loss, fair/unfair if I took multiple distribution methods. But when I took a poll here, I found that a surprisingly large number of people wanted the distribution here, so I came up with this method. After all, I think the fundamental problem is that Patreon is still confused with subscription, crowdfunding and other paid sites. (even on the creators' side) Of course, I never mean to say "you should just pay because this place is for receiving support!". Instead, we creators are obligated to continue our activities while in your support. Therefore, for those who say "I've paid this much so far -", please understand that this is not a crowdfunding, but a way to support my work through the pledges such as access to the articles. Of course, I'd like to give the Hard version to those who gave me large amount support so far, but there are various problems with this. I'll need one more distribution method and have to do the same thing for every update. As the number of DLC increases in the future, the amount of work will increase steadily. I'm doing everything by myself, so I don't want to increase my work other than production as much as possible. Some of you may think you've wasted the money, but never so, because your support made it possible for me to complete the Hard version. So I really appreciate all of you. I admit I don't understand the business plan. The 1st option is to pay around $20 at Itch.io or DLsite and have each DLC be $5. The second option is have a subscription that lets you get the same full game at $3 and gets DLC content for "free" at higher paying tiers. What's to stop someone from paying $3 for a 1-month subscription to download the game, and then buying the costumes for a one-time price of $5? Wouldn't it be better to put the full game up for $20 at the online stores, but keep DLC as Patreon Exclusive so subscribers have a reason to keep coming back?

I guess I'm in favor of distribution via online stores.

I'm more than happy to support your work on the $3 tier, since I have a hard time working with other sites to download games. Every time I have to use dlsite, or itchio I've had nothing but problems. Thank you for your hard work! I do understand Belial's complaint, but I am in a much different situation. I hope you find something that works for everyone. :)

How about people that are the 1$ tier but have been here far longer, and have paid way more than 3$ ? I've been a patreon for months now, so I've donated well over 10$, but to get access to the game I'm forced to pay 3$ more or pay 20$ on itch.io ? Doesn't seem fair to me.
