The original equipment stays exactly where it was.

- WELCOME TO .MTM -

From now on, my equipment packages are moving from .zip/.rar to:

.mtm

An .mtm file is the native equipment package for MTM Mod Manager.

The workflow is meant to be simple:

DOWNLOAD → DOUBLE CLICK → INSTALL

Once MTM is Installed, it associates with .mtm files, double-clicking one opens it directly in the Manager.

No digging through folders just to figure out where everything belongs.

And .mtm is still archive-based, so advanced users can open it with tools such as 7-Zip or WinRAR if they want to inspect what's inside.

- FORGE ANEW -

This is the feature that ultimately caused me to build MTM.

For years, most equipment mods worked by replacing something already in the game.

You wanted a new sword?

Something else had to become that sword.

You wanted a new armor set?

Another set disappeared.

MTM changes that.

Supported equipment can be added as new equipment, keeping the original Elden Ring content intact.

Your new items can then exist alongside the vanilla game instead of fighting for replacement slots.

That's the Elden Ring setup I've wanted for years.

And now we can actually build it.

MTM isn't only about installing one mod at a time.

I've already converted hundreds of my existing releases into the MTM ecosystem.

That means MTM isn't launching as an empty Manager waiting for content.

The library already exists.

And it will keep growing.

From now on, new supported releases will be built around .mtm.
