Did u see this essay about it recently? Critiquing if from the ultra-left communization tendency. Worth a read. https://cominsitu.wordpress.com/2021/03/12/the-test-of-communism/

Can someone tell me which version is which? And which version was used in the podcast? On Amazon there are two versions of 'Fundamental Principles of Communist Production and Distribution' by Hermann Lueer. One was published in 2018, one in 2020. Is the second one the version that was mentioned in the podcast that was previously only available in Dutch? There is also a version on Marxists.org translated by Mike Baker in 1990: https://www.marxists.org/subject/left-wing/gik/1930/index.htm Did Hermann Lueer think there were some problems with the 1990 translation so decided to produce a new translation?

The mike baker one on marxists.org is the 1st edition. We read that version for swampside. The 2018 version is Hermans own take on the book. The 2020 one is Hermans translation of the 2nd edition into english from Dutch. He also did a german translation of the 2nd edition too. The 2020 version is the best. I am thinking of doing a patreon reading group of it so if you are getting a copy make sure its that one :)

Wow, I need to pick this up asap. Lately I’ve realized that despite having radical critiques, my political imagination is actually very limited.

It's an unbelievable book, a quick read, and a total classic.
