#149 Reactionary Mind w/ Greg Belvedere Pt 2

I was first exposed to Ayn Rand throught the 1949 Gary Cooper film which was shown on TV as a Sunday afternoon film when I was young. I've never read her stuff but I saw interviews with her and her acolytes in an Adam Curtis documentary. I got the impression that these followers were all people who resented being told to share by their parents. Also, there was a joke going around following GOT about all the people who named their kids after Daenerys and were now feeling a bit silly. The same applies to people who have names derived from Ayn Rands books. Big vested interest in not being seen as daft.
