#100 The TSSI and the Critics w/ Andrew Kliman
That's right! It's episode #100! It’s been over seven years since the first episode in April 2012. I’d like to thank all the listeners for listening to and supporting the show over the years - I couldn’t have kept it going without you all. This week we are excited to welcome back Prof. Andrew Kliman to the show, as Lexi and myself spill our thoughts on the TSSI series that concluded a few months past and we pick the good professors brain on a number of issues

JFC. Kliman has been in academia too long. If he wrote this for an audience that would organize conferences and symposia or publish special issues of journals on the question of the internal consistency of the Marxian LTV, then he wrote it for the wrong audience. Does he think we're all a bunch of academics with nothing better to do with our time? If the question arises organically form our activity, it's certainly worthwhile to address it, but imagine thinking that we're a bunch of insecure nerds who won't pursue it because we don't want to be perceived as being "uncool."
I think he was indeed referring to academics, the people who generally publish journals and put on conferences, in that segment. It doesn't make sense to me that should should feel personally attacked. By the way, writing "uncool" as if he said that was the reason ppl don't engage TSSI, rather than you just misquoting him, is deeply "uncool."
