You digging the reading groups or prefer the regular interviews?
Well met, my fair Patrons,
I was wondering in general what you guys and gals and everything in between think about the reading group series I've been doing. Do you like them more than the normal interview type shows? I know I've been concentrating on the TSSI and MacNair series lately, which has prevented me following up on a number of other avenues of interest. Safe to say I have 2 interview guests to talk to this week, and a whole list of others I've been preparing for in the background.
Anyway - just a quick note, to see what all you good people are thinking about the current direction of the show.
Over and Out,
Commandante Alpha

The McNair series is 90% of what I've wanted to listen to but I will say, I like the Regrettable Century folks (I just wish the McNair series didn't seem like it'll go on for another 3 months because I'd like to finish the book but also have been enjoying following along)
Good to hear it Ryan. Hopefully you'll enjoy the next reading group too. We'll be voting on it in the next while...
The MacNair reading series is pretty awesome. But I love a good interview.
I like both the reading series so far very much and I hope they continue, but the interviews are why I came to love this podcast.
I’ve listened to the MacNair series and really enjoyed it. Want to go back to the TSSI series once I get round to reading it. I was wondering if you’d think of doing an interview with someone about the Limerick Soviet, it’s the centenary this month and there’s a good bit going on. It ties into the MacNair series a bit with the conflict between labour and nationalist movements at before and during the War of Independence. A member of the Socialist Party called Dominic Haugh has written a book called “Limerick Soviet 1919: The Revolt of the Bottom Dog” which I’ve started reading. It gives an overview of many Irish labour struggles that I wasn’t aware of.
I am actually interviewing somebody about it this week!
