[Public] Little News Update
Hey everyone,
I wanted to make a quick public update about what is going on.
First and foremost, it was a good thing I removed the Public Builds because, as they existed, they were an instant disqualification for Steam. I wasn't aware of that at the time, but it's a... happy coincidence? A little sad, to be honest. I do miss hearing from you all.
Speaking of which, I haven't been making many public posts because there's just not a lot going on. Event production has slowed significantly as I try to meet all of Steam's requirements. My first submission to Steam was rejected. That... bummed me out pretty badly, but I made all of the changes they requested and resubmitted it. So far, I am still pending manual review, which means the game is not available on Steam and not ready for wishlisting yet.
There will be a pinned, public post here when the game is for sale on Steam.
That's all I wanted to say! I haven't forgotten about you guys. Steam has just been kicking me up and down the street. I'm exhausted and very stressed, but I think I'm getting close. For those of you looking forward to the Steam release to see the Academy ladies again, I'm working on it tirelessly. The next public post you should see will have the Steam store page. Fingers crossed, everyone.
Thank you for all of your support,
~Solace

I've started moving away from Steam games due to their views on what is suitable for me to buy and mainly searching thru Patreon now. Sorry for your troubles with steam cause it only gets worse.
What problem could Steam possibly have? There is ABSOLUTELY nothing.
The game itself, I think, is mostly fine. But there were a lot of issues around everything but the "game." The store page, the GUI, the descriptions, the assets for the GUI, blaaaah. It was a lot of back and forth and very time consuming. I think I've got it all now, so I'm hoping for good news. Each time I get a rejection on something it postpones the Steam release by about ten days. It should be 5-7 business days, but because they need to check I made the right changes it's now always 6-7 which means the next week, so 8-9 total not including the day I need to make changes.
What all did steam reject out of pure curiosity
It was a lot of small things. In the end, I needed some new menus, had a good friend create some art assets for me, I had to take out some of the old splash screens and rewrite the store page. Rewrite a lot of the storage page. It was more or less wholesale rejected. I don't want to talk about specifics because I don't want them to read this and then I get in deep trouble, lol.
