Personal life update and more
Straight to the point: a lot of you know that I lost one of my cats in March. Apparently, the stress for losing his friend of ten years was too much for my other cat, who now seems to have developed FIP as a consequence. The diagnosis is not 100% certain because it never is, but my veterinarian is pretty sure that's the reason he's been feeling ill and irritable since the beginnig of August. So, it appears I'm going to lose him too, we started a therapy but there is no real cure for FIP, which is why I haven't been checking on Patreon lately.
I was told there was another patch but I haven't checked the patch notes nor the game yet. I'll check and post updates for the mods, and also for the mods I left hanging from the previous patch when the cat started feeling bad.
As for the project I was meant to start, it seems like there is interest in it so I will start working on it regardless of my personal problem, since I need to take my mind off this situation somehow anyway.

I'm so sorry for your loss! I lost my cat of 18 years in October and my other kitty has been super clingy now. It does effect them. I hope your other kitty will be okay.
Hey Zero! I've been a fan of your mods for a few months now but I had never come across this post. I was in search of something else, but I have to say (as a cat mom myself) this brought me to tears. I know this was written months ago, but I became a patron and will continue to be one for as long as I can afford to. I'm so sorry you've been going through some tough times. Thank you for continuing to working so hard despite that to bring us incredible mods that make this game fun (ACTUALLY! playable). Sending positive energy your way!

I'm so sorry. We had to say goodbye to our 18 year old cat a couple weeks ago and it sucks.

my colleague recently (6 months ago) raised some money from coworkers to buy some black market drug for FIP, it's called GS-441524. Treatment was quite expensive (10k zł ~ >$2k) and long (84 days), cat wasn't happy because the drug was thick and therefore a bit painful to apply, but it gave almost immediate effects(cat's weight increased by 0.5kg in a week) and cat was declared cured (she gave us update 5 days ago). From what she told me it's some black market chinese(I think, you can google it to learn more) drug and apparently the result is highly dependant on whether you get the actual drug or get scammed. In Poland there are some facebook groups that organise access to it, so maybe there are some in your country as well. Good luck

im so sorry, i truly hope you are able to get him well. I lost my first boy in June 2020 to lymphoma and my last boy a few days ago. I am so lost and know how you feel.

Losing the other one was like losing a sibling and we're still not over it, which makes it worse for the other one too since he feels it as much as we try to hide it. I think our grief also made it worse for him... Because he tried very hard to be there for us and fill the void in the beginning.

Have you looked into GS-441524? It's an expensive treatment and vets legally can't recommend it but it works. My mom's kitten had FIP at 5 months old and he's a healthy 1.5 years now. Hope your kitty pulls through <3
I did. And I saw it's rather expensive but I'd buy it if we were 100% sure the diagnosis is correct, problem is we're not... So we're thinking to see another veterinarian before considering it, also because my cat is not a kitten, he's 13 years old, that'd mean bringing him on a long trip to see another one tho (besides the antibiotics are working for the fever and they're not supposed to with FIP, so we have reasons to doubt)
