Announcing the next chapter of the adventures in the Capital of Human

If the first part of the episode in the Capital was, in a way, an exposition, then the second part brings development, with Eirik starting to take a more active role.

A new companion

We awaken a new dormant furry — Sophie. She’s a clever cat from the library, who will help us unravel the long-buried tale of the Fogwalker. Of course, she has her own goals… and her own plans for us.

More of the City

Peacock will let us move around the city — for now only within the Old Quarter. It’s not much, but it’s still nice to stretch our legs a bit.

New Battle Zone

We’ll have to descend into the city sewers to retrace Benjamin Lore’s path and learn more about the results of his expedition. As expected, the sewers are crawling with unpleasant creatures, but fortunately, Eirik won’t be down there alone.

Meeting the upper crust of society

Once Peacock is convinced that things are serious, he simply can’t resist showing off his accomplishments in public. For Eirik, this is a chance to get closer to the people who truly make the decisions on the Island.

When?

To be honest, I’d love to say the release should be out today. But unfortunately, there’s still a lot of work to do, and plenty of unexpected difficulties keep popping up along the way. December 21 is our deadline — we’ll finish everything we can, and whatever we don’t manage in time will be replaced with placeholders (hopefully we won’t need to).
This will be an early release on Patreon, available for tiers starting from Citizen.
The regular Patreon release will follow two weeks later, on January 4.
If there are any issues in the early release (hopefully not), we’ll fix them by the time of the regular Patreon release.
