Interacting with Supporters

We've always felt that we don't interact enough with our supporters on Patreon. We rarely published posts. We made too timid attempts to involve you in making decisions about the game's future. We didn't offer any nice little bonuses for those who decided to support us with larger donations.

Lately - maybe you've noticed - we're trying to fix this. We regularly publish posts with announcements and explanations. We conducted a small experiment with early access for Citizen subscribers. And now we're actively discussing how to better organize our players' involvement in discussions about future content. This is a complex issue, and we're afraid of making too abrupt moves. We absolutely don't want to make the game only for ourselves, but right now we don't fully understand how to do everything right. We need to organize a space where everyone can speak up, while maintaining a balance between players' voting rights and our creative freedom. Do you have an example of successful interaction between a creator and supporters in this sense? Can you tell us about it in the comments?

New Tiers

We're trying to bring our Patreon to a more respectable state to match the level of our peers in the field, and an important part of this is revising the tiers. We need more tangible bonuses for higher tiers! Yes, ultimately, all of this is just for supporting the project. These are donations. Everyone just gives as much as they can afford. But we're all human, and humans want to feel like they're getting something when giving money. So we're going to slightly modify the tiers, adding new goodies to old tiers and adding several new tiers. Here's a draft of how we see this updated list.

Hey, what will happen to my subscription?!

It was an absolute priority for us that these changes wouldn't be unpleasant news for our supporters, to whom we owe so much. In short, your subscription WON'T GO ANYWHERE, the price WON'T INCREASE for you personally, and it won't just not get worse, but will GIVE YOU MORE PRIVILEGES than before.

If you were a Villager, you'll keep this status and get all the benefits described for Villager in the updated tier list. You'll continue paying $3 per month as before until you decide to unsubscribe. New Villager subscribers will pay $5 per month, but nothing will change for you.

If you were a Citizen, you'll keep this status and get all the benefits described for Citizen in the updated tier list. You'll continue paying $5 per month as before until you decide to unsubscribe. New Citizen subscribers will pay $10 per month, but nothing will change for you.

If you were a Lord, you'll keep this status in Discord and credits. You'll have access to early releases on Patreon and additional materials (like Citizen), as well as receive triple voting weight (like Rebel). You'll continue paying $8 per month as before until you decide to unsubscribe. Your tier will remain unique, new subscribers won't be able to get Lord status.

If you were The Host of a Furry Harem, you'll keep this status in Discord and credits. You'll have all the benefits described for Rebel in the updated tier list. This includes access to early releases on Patreon, mention in the game (in the future, in wanted lists), access to additional materials and a special Discord channel. You'll continue paying $15 per month as before until you decide to unsubscribe. Your tier will remain unique, new subscribers won't be able to get The Host of a Furry Harem status.

Unique Opportunity!

I understand, guys, that this paragraph will sound like advertising bullshit, but that doesn't make what I'm about to say any less true. So, on Sunday, October 26, we'll change our tier policy. We'll make them more similar to how they look for our colleagues and they'll all become slightly more expensive. However, for those people who supported us before this moment, we're keeping special conditions. Without them, we wouldn't be here, and this is not a figure of speech, so we want to show them proper respect. All subscriptions active at the moment of transition, while they remain active, won't increase in price or decrease in quality. So if you've been thinking about raising your subscription tier or just subscribing, now you can get everything at the old, low price and stay at that tier for as long as you want. Starting Sunday, October 26, the price of all NEW (and only new) subscriptions will increase:

Villager will cost $5 (old price $3)
Citizen will cost $10 (old price $5)
Rebel will cost $20 (old price $8 or $15)
