Hello everyone, I hope you're doing okay as we enter another weekend here!
I think I'm going to try and do some serious spring cleaning over the next few days myself, maybe even finally switch my closet over from winter to spring and summer, as by the time I get to go anywhere outside again I think spring will certainly have sprung...
I hope you all enjoy this early look at Monday's video, it's the shoe collection extravaganza!
The cleaning must begin with putting all these shoes back away again you see.
I am sorta scared to put this one up on the channel, but since it has been so highly requested I just couldn't avoid it any longer of course! I really do come off as a hoarder don't I? I suppose many young people spend their early 20's going out on the weekends, but instead of buying concert tickets or cocktails, I went in for shoes and vintage brooches. Now well into my "goodness, that's actually quite a lot of grey hairs to be getting on with" late twenties, I think I'm far better at collecting wisely than I was in my dastardly heyday youth.
Tell me about your dream pair of retro shoes in the comments perhaps, as I know my list of styles nobody out there makes is quite long myself. What would you like to see repro brands recreate?

I have those lovely satin American Duchess evening heels...in red and black of course....and I have only worn them once because they were terribly uncomfortable! Any tips to make them last at least through a fancy tea party without toes falling off?
Hmm I'm afraid I find mine very comfortable, I consider all of my AD shoes the best in my bunch. I used to wear high 5 inch heels almost daily though when I was younger, so my feet may have just become impervious to discomfort at this point. A good way to stretch them a little can be to wear them around the house for a few hours with thick socks on I suppose!
Does anyone else feel like their YouTube comments sound dorky but comment anyway a because it’s suppose to help views? As a side note, I’m off the nebulizer and can breathe again which means I can sew again.

I love seeing your collections! And I don't think you ever come across as brag-y or entitled! :) And I have definitely watched people who do! I wish more repro brands (and just brands in general) would come out with more styles that have low heels (like 1") or are flat. I love the look of heels, but I have mobility challenges and I can't really wear heels higher than an inch. Also it would be great to see more wide width options!

I'm not sure exactly what this means I'm afraid? Like vlogs during lockdown? I fear my life is even less glamorous and excited than usual and I mostly just sit at my laptop in my pajamas writing, so there isn't exactly much to vlog about unfortunately ha!
