Early Access // Drafting Dangerous vol.10
Helllllooo there! I am still getting my routine back into some semblance of order after my mom's recent visit, and yes we even made it out to Brimfield for a day of adventures, but I couldn't quite finish this video up in time for last Thursday. Instead it will be going out this next week, but I thought I'd give you all the first look. I will hopefully be finishing up some beadwork for our patron video tomorrow, so you will be seeing that soon as well.
Thank you for your support!

On the trouser video, can you possibly show how to make secret pants that look like a skirt but aren't?
Love love love the drama of a medieval looking sleeve!
I'm so psyched you made it out to Brimfield! I haven't lived in New England for well over a decade, but I still remember being staggered by how big it was the first time I went. Hope you had a great time!
Thank you. I needed flutter sleeves for the dress I am working on
Please, please, pretty please, with a cherry on top, could you, would you consider doing a two-day sewing retreat somewhere to help us create block patterns? If you're good crossing into Canada, I'll happily ask every sewing company in the Greater Toronto Area if they'll host you. There's one I haven't been to yet (because their classes fill up so fast) that has a cabin in the woods north of town. :) I'm not close enough to the Albany-ish area to coordinate, but I would gladly drop some good cash on a weekend sew-in!! I never have figured out how to get the block to fit right. 🥺
Seconding this!! I live in the US but am never mad about an excuse to visit Toronto, and I would love to meet other folks who are trying to get their blocks right, cuz mine is definitely still in its awkward adolescent phase.
I would also watch some vlog material, about antiquing, thrifting, organizing, what have you🤗 would be nice 'behind the scenes' content for patreon as well
This makes me want to sew a lot of fun sleeves that I don't have a use for. I want to sew a circular flounce but I don't know what I'd put it on or when I'd ever wear it! Unrelated but have you heard of the Singer 185? I've been cleaning up one I found at the thrift store and it's mostly the same make as the 99k, just with a more 60's style shape, and the whole thing is pistachio green. (Though googling it I see they also made beige ones. Boo!) The original green bobbin winder tire and green drive belt on mine are dead and needed replacing, but thankfully the green wires are in great shape.
Ah, the blue patterning table of doom! It was good to see it again. Tho we love the elegant green patterning table of chic!
Fab! Would love to see raglan sleeves explained please and thank you
Enjoying all of these variations of the flutter/bell sleeves. Looking forward to trying them out myself. I can think of several garments right now to add some flutter or floof to. Thanks so much for the inspiration and instruction. 🌟❤️
Can’t wait to watch. I have learned so much from you and am actually feeling a little confident about my abilities because of you. Thank you, you matter so much.
The sleeves I need! BTW: don't know if you saw this but @taipeiqueen (IG) just gave The Closet Historian a huge shout out!
I love this series. I learn so much from each one. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Fabulous, thank you. Wonderful and you make it very achievable
I have saved all of these for future reference 😊
I just absolutely love this series. I love how you show each step of your explanation. Thank you for continuing it!!
Love this series! This video is so timely, thanks so much.
Now I'm looking forward to your next one. This series has been so fun and educational. You've done a great job with each topic..
It's fabulous! I love this video!
So very glad you made it to Brimfield! It's a pretty big deal in antiques! Hope you found cool things!!
Oh my! I wish I could watch the entire thing right now, but I can’t. But will. It looks amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
