Rusty Sateen Wrap Dress 🍂
Here is the dress I drafted in last month's patreon video sewn up! I will have another project video coming later in the month as well, but before then I had better get back to some more painting and stenciling...
Thank you for your support! ❤️

I've been wanting a specific dress for a while now and have looked at all kinds of patterns hoping what I had in my mind would magically appear... Well, your reveal was it! Everything I wanted and more! Even the fabric, so now I'm definitely going to be disappointed when I can't find this but at least I have somewhat of an idea now and can get started on a mockup. Thanks for sharing this, I'm super excited to get started ❣️
I'm with you, we need a registry for independent people who don't get married 😊💙
Can't believe you made this out of 2.5 yds. of fabric! It is lovely. I love the rich brown cotton sateen and you did a stellar job putting it all together.
This dress is stunning on you! Thanks so much for sharing, love it so much.
No Star Wars shirt AND a side zipper?
Please get a rice cooker for yourself! The $20 ones cook rice just as well as the $500 ones. If you eat half as much rice as I do, it's life changing.
Gorgeous dress ❤️
When I see you in that beautiful dress I couldn't help but think that the bold colours (red, black, ..sharp contrasts) suit you a little better. But you still look good in that dress and the combo of wrapping the top & zipping the skirt was interesting to see. Seems promisingly practical. I'll have to try that.
Lovely, as usual! I've learned so much from you. I like to watch/listen to your vlogs while I do hand sewing, it's very relaxing!
Hi Bianca! I love the lapels, they create a neckline that you can wear a necklace or a brooch at the V-point. So please take a break - make a video of your excursion to a pumpkin patch, maybe wearing your slytherin dressing robe and munching on a cider doughnut. Love your designs!
Hi, Thank you for the video. Interesting as usual, and he dress looks really good. I'm trying to psych myself up to go into the kitchen and put my grandson's sun hat together, but seasonal depression make's it even more difficult to get off the bed. Falll, I'm not a fan. Have a lovely rest of October. Yours, Ann
Lovely dress. I love the folded back lapels, suits the design I feel, and an intended feature to me anyway. I like the fabric colour and pattern also, and it suits you very well.
amazing dress, for some reason I still have in my head that with a wrap dress the skirt also needs to wrap and I don't really like how that looks so I never make it, but yes,, this could be done just as well
The color and pattern look fabulous on you! Brava. Oliver did an outstanding job supurrvising as well. Re: food...we gave up trying to do Indian food on the stove and started doing it in the slow cooker. We also preferred less tomato, more cream - played around with some recipes found via Pinterest.
It's lovely, and the lapels look intentional! Unrelated but have you ever come across a vintage brooch with cork pieces? I got one today that's got 3 little balls made of cork and it's so so strange, they've got metal studs on them and are attached with small chains to a little metal loop.
You've done it again. Perfection in fabric. This dress is devine.
Such a flattering color on you 🥰
This turned out really lovely and who knows maybe there’ll be a warmer day or two where you can wear it before November is upon us. What’s the situation with trick or treaters in your area? Will you dress up in costume for handing out candy?
I think I like the way this neckline turned out better! I love this colour on you, its fabulous. I had a brief moment, while you were ironing part of the sleeve lining down, where I thought you were ironing directly into your fingers! 🫨 when you pulled the fabric away, I saw the sleeve board. But in my mind, my inner voice said, 'Woah, that's some epic levels heat tolerance!' 😂🤣😂
It came out well, even with all the hiccups and left turns. I recently cut the ties off of a tied short sleeve shirt I thrifted, because I couldn't get the knots undone (I think they might have been fake bows) and it was just tight enough to be uncomfortable. So, for the sake of wearability, off went the strings lol. I like it much better. Thank you for sharing 💙
Omg, that’s gorgeous 😍
Huzzah! That's my bedtime watching sorted. 🤩
That dress looks delicious! Like a perfect milk chocolate. 😊
