Literacy Mod: Teach your Sims to read! (1.2 Enchanted by Nature) (WITH TRANSLATIONS)

Note: The regular version of this mod will conflict with any mod that edits schools. There is an anti-conflict version also uploaded below.
Hi guys! This mod was originally made as a feature for the next RM update but I figured it's also a nice little addition for those who don't play with it but would still like literacy in their game.
This mod automatically adds illiteracy to your sim, and they will have to learn to read to regain the ability to do some of the in-game interactions that require the reading skill.
The skill is available for children-elders.
Interactions like reading books, doing anything on a computer that requires reading, reading notices, ect will be greyed out from the pie menu until your sim reaches level 5 of the new Literacy skill.
To work on this skill, sims can do a few things:
'Practice Reading' (Adults) You can do this by self-clicking on your illiterate sim and choosing the practice reading interaction.
Other sims with level 5 of the skill will be able to mentor them by clicking on them whilst the sim is performing the interaction.'Practice Reading' (Children) You can buy 'Literacy Book' from any bookcase just like you can purchase homework.
Kids are able to practice reading with this book and other sims with level 4 of the literacy skill can mentor them.Children and teens can also choose 'Practice Reading' whilst away at school by clicking on their away icon (where you can choose to slack off or work hard, ect.)
Not available with the anti-conflict version.
Sims will gain a reward trait once they learn to read and can then teach other sims! :)

is this still part of the royalty mod or does it need to be downloaded separately? i have the royalty mod and i cant find any setting allowing me to toggle illiteracy on. there is a literacy practice book in available in the mod but it doesnt do anything, and there is no literacy skill or "literate"/"illiterate" traits. the royalty mod tutorial website says illiteracy can be toggled on in settings but that was from several patches ago and it isnt really mentioned again since.
Hi! I think this mod is broken, my sim has maxed out the literacy skill and has the literate trait, but still can't read any book :(

I'm very sorry. In the latest DLC version, I found that clicking on the computer doesn't bring up the option to write, which is very frustrating for me. I tried to keep only your mod for testing, but it still happened.

I love this mod not just for historical play, but for general realism! I was wondering, however, is there was any plan in the future to mentor multiple sims in this skill through the Businesses and Hobbies whiteboard? It would be so amazing to be able to set up an adult school with this mod

I want to make a Reading Skill with 10 Levels for Toddlers till Elders, so when Toddlers learn to Read they first learn the Alphabet, till level 5 for Toddlers, and for Children they'll already have Reading Skill Level 5, so that they can actually read in school! Reading Skill should also be obtainable for Teens to Elders, so they'll have the same Reading Skill Level as when they were children! (for example a child has level 7 reading skill, the teen will have it too.) I hope its possible to code that. If not, you could add a cheat, so we can add the Reading Skill to an NPC Sim or our Sims by shift-clicking on him/her. I also want the Skill to be called Reading Skill, not Literacy, because we already have a writing skill, and I want 10 Levels, because the writing Skill also has 10 Levels. And I love Skills with 10 Levels. Also Sims need to know how to read and write before going to work, if they can't write and read, they should not be able to join a career. Would you mind if you change your mod that way? Or at least guide me through on how to make a mod like that. Do you have discord, or how can we stay in contact? Thanks in advance!
Is there a new download file for the literacy mod? My sims don't have the cards in front of them and don't gain skill.
Is there a cheat to max out literacy skill for sims who story wise should be able to read already?
Yeah it works like any skill, can left click on it and cheat it if you have the UI mod installed or it can be cheated with MCCC
