Your First CFBD Analysis: Build a Team Profile in Python

I’ve published a new tutorial for CFBD users who have an API key but aren’t sure what to build first.

The walkthrough uses Python and three focused API requests to profile Michigan’s 2023 season. It covers safe key handling, cleaning the responses into DataFrames, comparing eight metrics with the full FBS, and creating a percentile chart you can reuse for another team or completed season.

It’s intentionally a descriptive analysis rather than a predictive model. The goal is to establish a clear, repeatable workflow before adding more complexity.

If you try it with your team, let me know what stood out!
