Hi guys and galls !

V0.87

This release is a little bigger than last time (render wise), focusing mainly on Henry and Sylvia's first night. I was also able to finish it quicker, so I could get it out to you all today instead of waiting until the end of the month (the 29th or 30th).

The extra time I got will be needed because...

What's Next ?

I decided to slow down a bit with the POV's for now and move the story forward. The plan is that with v0.88 and v0.89, we should finish the main story and reach the endings (0.9x.xx series of updates). Both of those updates are large, and the extra time I saved on v0.87 will be super helpful in hopefully delivering both in August. If not, there might be a v0.90.00 release later after 0.89 in September that will do that.

On the POV events front, most events are done, but a few remain. I'll add those during the endings phase, which kicks off in September.

Endings

Time-wise, I expect the endings to take around half a year, maybe more. Originally, I estimated that I would finish them by the end of 2025, but in my opinion, early 2026 is much more probable.

The idea is that the story continues from 0.9x.xx into completely separate branches, and the amount of choice will be kept to a minimum. Some of the endings will branch out into their own separate endings down the line. The main difference between the main story and the endings is that the endings will be a lot more kinematic with a minimum amount of choices, and they will be done one after another. Some endings will be short, some will be long, some, as mentioned, will branch out, and some will abruptly end. All depending on the choices made in the game. That's a lot of work to do but on other hand no variation to events mean also that I can move faster with every event as I won't need to write 3-4 different versions of same event due to choices involved. This also will allow me to make those endings unique.

Thanks to your support, my financial situation has improved a lot, to the point where I can take less work from my employer, and instead of burning through my savings, they're actually growing ! It still feels nuts to me that I have real fans who like what I do. I hope that my future updates and future games won't let you down.
