Working on v0.49 [Part 1]

Hello everyone.
As mentioned in one of the posts before I was taking a week break. Now that it is over time to get back to work.

So what's the plan for v0.49 ?

The next update will feature 4 new events. Usually i release 5 events each update but unlike others those 4 events are very important to my game and it will require from me a ton of work to get them right. I fully expect that i might rewrite each event few times if needed. They will also have to include a lot of resolutions of C&C, so for an example one event is essentially 3 different events just with different setup due to C&C.

Ok, but what is the deal with them ?

I mentioned once that my game divides into arcs. If you have ever watched some TV series etc. it is similar in nature to TV series arcs. First you have the prologue which is fairly long in my case. Then you have a catalyst in form of the kiss with the mistress and now you will have the climax of that chain of events after characters will have to come to terms with new reality and start new page in character relationships.

v0.49 will be the last update concerning "Mistake Arc" and resolution of it. I don't want to spoil it much (but it is fairly predictable for those who play I think). The point is that this is the ending of one part of game and start of new arc and has to be as good as possible for you to be "in" my story with those characters.

Ok, when ?

I think I will be able to deliver it by 12th of April which is again Friday. Obviously as usual everything depends on my IRL work but with this release date I have fairly big leeway to finish it by that date. Which will allow me to sit on something else if I will have free time...

Gallery.

Some of you requested to implement the gallery feature and I realized it's a good point. In a game with choices & consequences until you replay the game again you don't know if there are alternative resolutions to some events. With the introduction of the gallery feature with the press of a button you could easily see that there is something you missed. I plan to implement it by v0.49 release but right now I don't have clue if it won't slip into V0.5x release. v0.49 release is the primary goal I need to do with gallery being secondary to it. But... I am fairly confident I will be able to get it into the game.

So with that I leave you to get back to work on my game. Naturally I will be posting progress on update and some sneak peaks as usual.
