WAIT THERE'S GOING TO BE A SPACE OPERA SEQUEL??? CONGRATS!!! Cat, you need to give us a way to celebrate your accomplishments! Is there a way the patrons can throw you an online party? Twitter is awesome for those who are on it, but I know I don't only speak for myself when I say that patrons want to congratulate you on these accomplishments in some way! It would be weird, of course, to ask you to do work to enable us to make a "party" for you... but maybe a little celebratory thread where we can all comment with our favourite bits, or something? I dunno, I'm just super excited. Maybe others have better ideas?

Hello all. I hope you are having a lovely Monday. Here are three things from our little Island which I liked recently and you might also like: THING ONE: This music video by my friend and it's lovely words- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycu4RvBiyQg, THING TWO: The new BBC series of Fleabag, which as comedy and drama goes, is just flawless- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c39KB2sm9x8 and THING THREE: Jmes Acaster and everything he does, the netflix specials are a good start: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9_0_kJzIa0 I do hope you like the things and apologies that you will have to cut and paste all of these links to see them. GOOD DAY TO YOU.

Oh it looks like you dont have to cut and paste the links. Well that's made things marginally more paletable.

I found this Youtube channel that does ethereal mixes of beautiful music with the best comment section. This is the video that introduced me to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTfeMhyyy5o

There's a fossil bed out there that preserves the DAY of the Chixculub impact, with washed-up-by-tsunami fish and impact craters with tektites and PRESERVED DINO FEATHERS and how. HOW is everyone on earth not marveling about that today.

It's finally getting to be Spring here in the DC area, so I'm absorbing it while I can. It's "blink and you'll miss it" around here...

Ahh, Toronto, got it... Actually, the DC ones have gotten kind of unpredictable (climate change), but this year they seem to be peaking right around now which is the historical average...

The world may be filled with chaos, but I can still create one small pocket of comfort for my clowder of four cats, who are all roughly one year old by now.

Four cats! That's two up on me! Give them extra pats for the Lab, will you?

Doing great over here! On the topic of marsupials, my daughter just discovered a wonderful book called "Pocket Babies" all about marsupials, so we've been learning about how koalas have an extra length of digestive tract to handle woody eucalyptus fibres and other such fascinating facts! My daughter's been imitating wombats all day, which made me think of Blunderbuss, Cat!
