It's That New Tier Smell: Happy Ninth Anniversary!

Hello everyone!

This March marks the ninth anniversary of this Patreon, which is, quite frankly, rude of Time, and a bit implausible.

But I thought to celebrate the occasion, for the first time, I would initiate a new tier for the Laboratory!

See, I live in a 124-year old house on an island in Maine that was...interfered with by a previous owner who was good enough to build stuff, but not to build it correctly, and definitely not to finish very much. And the salt air just annihilates everything. So it's been a bit of a mess since I moved in, and later bought it. And in all my years here, I really haven't been helping the poor girl out much. But I'm trying now! And it's hard, because I don't know how to do almost any handy-type stuff. I put all my points into the [Literature] skillset, okay?

So the new tier features the DIY projects I manage to complete without harming myself or anyone else, with ALLCAPS-infested notes on the process and photos. I've posted some of this stuff before, but I've been working so hard on it there's hardly room for much else in the Denizen section.

Now you can all come with me on a journey of reclaiming this house from ruin and rot. So Because something in this world should be rescuable.

Occasionally there may be craft projects or other Art Stuff if I didn't finish a House Thing that month. And at least a small journey into the world of forest maintenance, as there's a small forest behind this house that I've literally done nothing to maintain and desperately needs clearing. This will require a chainsaw. Which I also don't know how to use. So, uh...don't miss that.

This is an "I Made/Fixed This Thing What Wasn't Fiction!" tier of all sorts.

It's priced at $7.50, right between the most popular tier (the main "experiment" recipe + essay) and the next one up (the excerpt). All tiers from the excerpt up will get access automatically. That felt logical, but if anyone has a different idea for where to place this, I'm all ears.
