Here is a detailed guide for how to connect your patreon and discord accounts:

Step 1: Access the Desktop Site on Mobile or PC

  • Open Your Preferred Mobile Browser:

    • This can be Chrome, Safari, or another browser of your choice.

  • Switch to Desktop View:

    • For Android:

      • Tap the three dots menu (usually found at the top right corner).

      • Scroll down and select "Desktop site" to switch from mobile view to desktop view.

    • For Safari:

      • Tap the aA icon at the top left corner of the address bar.

      • Select "Request Desktop Site".

Step 2: Connect Your Discord Account in Patreon Settings

  • Log In to Patreon:

    • Go to the Patreon website using your browser in desktop view.

    • Log in to your Patreon account.

  • Access Settings:

    • Click on your profile picture or icon at the top right corner to open the menu.

    • Select "My Profile".

    • In the profile menu, click "Settings".

  • Connect to Discord:

    • In the settings menu, go to the "Apps" tab or "Connected Apps".

    • Look for the Discord option and click "Connect".

    • Follow the prompts to log in to your Discord account and authorize the connection.

Step 3: Join The Spider-Lair Server

  • Join the Server:

    • After connecting your Discord account, go to The Spider-Lair Patreon page.

    • You should now see a "Join Server" button next to The Spider-Lair.

    • Click this button to join The Spider-Lair Development Discord server.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Use a Browser, Not the App:

    • Connect your account through a mobile browser like Chrome or Safari, not the Patreon app.

  • Disconnect and Reconnect:

    • If you have trouble, disconnect your Discord and Patreon accounts in the settings, then reconnect them.

  • Leave and Rejoin Server:

    • If you're already a member and have issues, leave The Spider-Lair server and rejoin through Patreon settings.
