🚀 Version 1.6.8 Update — August 12, 2026
This patch is all about getting our systems ready before we shift full focus onto the story, along with a bunch of Quality of Life improvements to make the game smoother and easier for everyone to play.
The big highlights this time: the dating system is back, and we've added German (Deutsch) by request from our paid Patreon supporters 💛
🎰 City Entertainment
🃏 Poker is now fully playable! — Texas Hold'em at the Blue Sky Casino (Floor 10): you + 4 NPCs, 5 buy-in tiers, No Limit / Limit modes, and a full side-pot system — complete with a dealer shuffling cards, coin animations, and sound for every action.
🃏 Easier-to-read casino cards — the numbers and letters on all 52 cards are now larger and clearer.
💕 Relationships
The dating system is back! Starting with Charlotte + Hana — invite them out from the gym / shop.
Dates now swap gift-giving for a 3-question quiz about her — answer correctly to earn hearts ❤️
🛠️ Quality of Life
🎒 Fully redesigned Backpack UI — cleaner look, close with ✕ or ESC, and filter tabs: All / Consumable / Gift / Quest.
⎋ ESC now closes any phone app — works in layers: close app → close phone.
😴 Sleep / nap in bed is now available — nap to skip a time slot, or sleep at night to wake up the next day (and body stats no longer drop when you sleep).
🗺️ Character portraits on the map are now circular for a cleaner look.
🥚 Egg-collecting minigame (Meadowfield Egg) can now be skipped.
🚀 Automatic update checker + on-screen notification badge.
🌍 Languages
🇩🇪 Added German (Deutsch) by request from our paid Patreon supporters.
Item descriptions + Backpack UI now translated into 15 languages.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with Nami and Riley where you couldn't continue talking to them the next day.
