I’m uploading this here first because the Patreon community is the reason I'm still standing.
Yesterday, YouTube’s automated system flagged my entire 12-year archive and instantly de-monetized my entire channel. I’ve appealed twice, I’ve provided evidence, and they have refused to budge. This cut 50% of my income overnight and has put me paying my future bills at risk.
I am tired of relying on a system that hurts creators. In this video, I explain exactly what happened and my plan to move forward.
If you're already supporting the channel, thank you so much as this helped my anxiety so much. Sorry to hear that Strider, it’s such a shame this happened to you even though to my knowledge I don’t think you did anything wrong, and you were always under fair use with everything. (OG watcher since your early vids) Hearing all this is just crazy.

Thanks Leslie. I'm feeling a bit better preparing the next video to go onto LiveStrider and uploading to Patreon some of my taken down peppa videos made me feel a bit better. It's been a bit of a mourning process the last week or so but I think moving onto LiveStrider is going to help.
Man screw YouTube! This is so unfair because people have gotten away with horrible things while you're just here polite and entertaining doing your thing!

Even though it is extremely unfair, would you consider deleting all the videos that YouTube deemed unsafe and just posting them here? It seems like that would be a smaller loss than losing the entire channel/monetization. I’ve loved your channel for years now! I’m sorry you are going through this.
What if you keep posting on YouTube, but put something in the video that’s exclusive to Patreon, like for example on a “Top 5 Episodes” video, you tell us the top 5 but at the end you can tell us your favorite episode of the series and why it’s your favorite, but that last part is only available on Patreon. I recommend to keep posting on YouTube so that you can at least get new reach, and be able to “promote” your Patreon to a that reached audience.

Joined at one of the higher tiers (I had been on a lower tier for awhile) but moved up to help support you through this! Youtube is absolutely ridiculous for this. As a chronically ill Audhd person, I can't imagine loosing my income completely at once like that. For as long as I can help. I'm happy too!
As a long-time YouTuber, seeing YouTube (Google, really) doing this to creators is disgusting. It's one of those things that made me consider leaving the platform altogether, but I don't know if I'll go through with it. I'll support you however I can. I truly hope you and Min stay safe in these trying times.

How can they justify demonetizing your channel? Youve done nothing but be kind and respectful in each of your videos, meanwhile people who actually deserve to get demonetized are still standing and allowed to continue.

This also happened to Yesterworld recently, it seems like more and more lately that if you want to be big on youtube you have to get funding from outside of their ecosystem.
Wow, you are one of the lest offensive person on YouTube ever. Your videos are some of the most relaxing and pleasant videos on the platform. I agree it’s insane they let real slop pass and frell over such a gentle and amazing creator.
Im so sorry you have to fight through this battle...that's so frustrating and honestly scary considering that you and almost every other creator on the platform relies on monetization. Especially on videos that they never had an issue with originally! It takes a lot of time and effort to create this content and it most definitely is a full time commitment! From what I understand YouTube has been doing this a lot a few major animation channels have gif Randomly hit. You just have to connect with YouTube and hope they get your funding back. But I also suggest trying facebook or TikTok if you aren’t on those

Dude, I'm 1 of the ppl who grew up on you. I loved ur hammy "loud" era as a kid, the late 2010s - early 2020s, & still enjoy watching some of the newer stuff. Having your main channel demonitized seemingly permanently over banned Daniel Tiger episodes (right?) is absurd. Beyond Patreon, the only other avenue I can see for ur vids is LiveStrider & Idk what you'd personally put there, especially for a secondary acc. Ig ppl can nostalgia-binge that channel in the meantime to generate ad revenue. Genuinely wth does YT keep beating down creators over bs claims or reports that prolly aren't even from any official ppl? Edit: Have all of ur old *Patreon-only vids been reuploaded yet or anything, like the weird ice cream one? I think that'd kinda make sense to re-upload there!

That’s horrible! YouTube is a complete shell of their former selves. They’re nothing but another big mega corporation willing to screw anyone and everyone over just to “protect the kids” as they say. I will never stop supporting you because your channel has been a safe space for me since 2018. I will do whatever I can to keep you stable and happy and your safe space alive for me and everyone else.
