"Shanghaied" Spongebob Season 2 Review
Howdy! This episode is famous for its interactive voting system from back in the day.. But honestly I was more interested in the funny gags rather than the endings. I still use "your good" as a vocal stim to this day.
I am deeply grateful to have your support this month. It has kept my private villa sanctuary safe and gives me the absolute freedom to make this art for you. Next video coming up is "The Controversial episodes of Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood."
Much appreciation for you — Josh

I don't think it's how bleak the endings are that bothers you, I think it's how unsatisfying the endings are that bothers you
I really Love this episode
Why are the other endings not sticking in here? SpongeBob- The Dutchman is too full to eat them, so he drinks them Patrick- Wishing for more wishes and the Dutchman still eats them Squidward- To be home without being sent back. His house and the three still get eaten
Small typo - "Your good" should be "You're good"
no
I didn't do a lot of actual shopping at department stores in the 90s, but I'd pass through them going in & out of malls, and I remember well the perfume/cologne ambush period. I was never targeted myself (probably figured I wasn't worth their time) but it was a tactic for a dismayingly long time. An early episode of "Friends" included a reference to the situation.
I love Scary Strider, can he come back for Halloween?
I wonder why the Episode is called ‘shanghaid’ in the first place
I don't know if the term is considered to be offensive in use now, but for a long time 'Shanghai' someone or to be 'Shanghaied' described the specific act of being forcibly taken to serve aboard a ship.
I should also point out that you can watch the same episode with all endings exclusively in the Sea Stories DVD. It’s actually kind of a fun bonus feature.
There's a total of six endings for that
oh? What're the other endings? Never heard of any beyond the first 3
