Real thoughts on: Modern Family Guy

I agree. You've articulated the dullness of recent episodes really well. Pacing is another major problem I should've mentioned. Episodes just drag and the characters are 99% unrelatable. And if you don't like gossip you're more likely to tune out quick. Family Guy is like the "gossipy redneck" of cartoons

I'm gonna rant on Family Guy a little bit.I occasionally do laugh at family guy but the episodes have such an awful pace that you can't connect to or remember plots. Jokes require you to know celebrities that aren't relevant or interesting and other than a couple, the characters are all terrible. When they go for showing violent imagery or doing horrible stuff, the animation is so mind numbing and the tone is so deaf that it has no real effect.
