Although I do favor the original series mainly for the characters, I think I got more emotionally invested in the characters of LoK. I thought the adult children of the original team Avatar were some of the best characters in the series, along with Bolin who is also my favorite main character (I like Varrick a lot too). Aang is my favorite Avatar, but Korra's likeability increased as her character grew and became more developed as the series went on.
I think I liked Aang better overall as an avatar as well though Bolin is a definite favorite of mine too. That's who I meant to say in the review :P
I've not seen Korra or any Avatar for that matter.
Korra is a bit shorter so it's a little easier to get into. It's cut into 12 episode chunks
You were talking about Bolin
Gah yeah.. I remembered his name right after :P
Nice
