Early main vid - Abysmal Rip Off Animated Sequels (un-cut version)
Hiya boss. This is a sequel to "modern animated rip-offs" discussing all the rip-off sequels I could find😀 I'll double-check the video for any errors/flickers over the next day. Hope you're having a pleasant weekend so far. PS: Shadow says hi

I remember seeing "A cars life" for my first time in IHateEverything's video of mockbusters and thinking "what the hell is that?" You know what it reminded of? Does Australia have the video series U R the Star Josh? The animation style of Cars life reminded me of it. My mom and grandmother had a video made of me as a baby and it's the last item I kept from my childhood from a box. Everything else was lost or thrown out over time and I still own the video over 20 years later.
Oh those U R Star videos actually exist? I never recall seeing that in Australia but that simpsons episode gave me a good idea of what it was probably like 🙂 Yeah I can imagine them being mockbuster-animation quality 😄I imagine they're more cherished because of all the valuable people and memories behind them.
Goodness... I wonder if that Dalmatians series of movies were made by the same people who made the terrible looking game, Animal Soccer World. The animation looks just about identical!
oh they were made by the same people-Dingo Pictures.
Those cars remind me of the Chevron cars that you saw everywhere in the US in the 90s and 2000s, but 3D modeled and worse looking
Just reached the part where your mom shares your annoyance. Hope you all didn't overthink too much otherwise you'd all need aspirin
I actually like the Happily Never After films.
the voice of the green van sounds so familiar but I can't put my finger on it.
I thought that too actually. It's hard to get proper voice credits for these mockbuster movies because alot of the actors use fake names or don't credit themselves 😄 Definitely have heard Mike Pollock (Robotnik) in a few of these!
I think Cars 2 is underrated honestly.
i thought the Arthur movie was decent for what it is, the most off-putting part for me wasn't the animation it was the weird voice-acting as only a couple of the original VAs reprised their roles so I found the new voices very distracting.
Love the video as ever Strider, keep up the excellent work 🙂
