Also, regarding the contraceptives, I have spent so much time trying to research a contraceptive that would realistically be in their universe/ time period, so I did research on ancient contraceptive methods in history, and none of the options were ideal / particularly safe/ effective so I loosely based what they are using off of the sea sponge method but l decided to keep it vague because I don’t want anyone replicating this method of contraceptive lmfao. But I wanted to make sure to show that they are using contraceptives and being as safe as possible!!! (It was between this or the ancient lamb intestine condoms and I could NOT bring myself to desecrate arias’ pp like that bro)

But to me (sue me for being sentimental), at least what makes it so hot and so impactful is Arias's love for Osora and the history we've been on with them. It may just be my sentimental brain, but I don't think Arias (or any character/person) can make an expression quite like that if all/most of what they feel is only physical: that man has not only transcend this plane of existence but ascended to nirvana of whatever plane he reached. (completely aside and not related, but I kinda get the sense he and Osora might have had more "luck" (idk what other word to use and I hate how...goal oriented it sounds, but I'm only using it because it really seems like Osora is so determined) if Osora hadn't seen/been reminded of how behemoth Arias is 😅 feel like he (understandably!!!!) got super intimidated and tensed up.
