I think because of the sense of perspective, I absolutely LOVE how you’ve drawn Arias in panel 8 (“Osora, I can’t do anything for you”) and it’s another reminder how amazing you are as an artist, colorist, and how hardworking your team is in flats, finishing backgrounds, everything!!!

I’m not caught up w the main comic but it actually made me really sad that Arias feels as though he “can’t get his hopes up” because Osora is still navigating his feelings. Osora isn’t fully taking Arias’ feelings into consideration & he’s being so wishy washy about. You don’t want to be together and yet you want to have sex with me? I’d feel like such an object omg. But I know things will get better it’s just…not okay right now. Osora is being quite selfish, but I understand that he’s trying to protect them both. But it’s not translating well. At all.
Well he is trying not to hurt Arias and keep things platonic, but he’s drunk right here. He’s not thinking properly, so his longing for Arias is taking over. That’s why Arias is pushing him away, because he doesn’t want to take advantage of Osora in his vulnerable state. It is definitely a rough situation for Arias, but Osora is struggling with all this, too. He’s just trying to do what he thinks is best for his family, the kingdom, and Arias. So despite him wanting to be with Arias, there’s a huge weight on his shoulders that is tying him down.
