Happy Saturday, Rainbow Fam! 🌈✨
Today’s BTL Nutshell got us wondering… when did you first know? 🤔 How old were you?
Was it a celebrity crush, a movie moment, someone at school… or maybe a certain Jedi who suddenly had you feeling a disturbance in the Force? 😂💕 We’d love to hear your stories in the comments!
May your coffee be as strong as the Force, your Saturday be filled with plenty of laughs, and your weekend include a little extra time with the people — or pups — you love most. ☕️💫
Whether you’re crushing on a Jedi, cuddling your favorite guy, or just enjoying a lazy morning with the pups, we hope your Saturday is out of this galaxy!
Thanks for the love and support, and thank you so much for supporting LGBTQ+ artists and comics 💕🙏🏻
Happy Saturday, Rainbow Fam… and may the Force be with you! 💕🚀

To each their own lol
In looking back, I suppose I had “gay feelings” at a very early age. My first childhood crush was on Tim Considine who played Spin in the Spin and Marty show which aired in 1955 when I was 6 years old! Certainly at the time and for too many years after I had no name for my feelings, but gradually became aware of the fact that my fascination for boys, and young men was different from what all my friends were feeling. Especially when they started talking about girls and I could not understand their interest. Luke Halprin in the TV show Flipper, Kookie )Ed Byrnes) in 77 Sunset Strip were other early crushes. I imagine like most guys of my age I did not come out until much later in life and I only hope that today, the hiding of feelings and lying about dates, etc. is not something that burdens the youth of today!
Oh, I see. I've heard about those shows; my dad has mentioned them before.
I knew the second the first nanogram of testosterone hit my system at 10, and even before then I had an unfocussed fascination with other little boys and men around me. However, living as I did in a really oppressive, super-conservative environment at home - where I thought I was the only one of my kind in the universe and had to hide it - I didn't do anything about it until I left home and was on my own and could accidentally discover my community. In the West Village in NYC. In 1977. You can fill in the rest.
Thanks for sharing, I hope younger generations can start coming out around the average age, str8 kids start to bloom....it's happening slowly
I realized it at 31, gonna be 41 this year. After I realized it I looked back and there were signs I just didn’t register it. Women in movies ( think horror movies) never intrigued me but shirtless men did. Once in college I called a guy on an ad cute. I immediately questioned it then dismissed it.
Oh really, wow...so late. I knew when I was about 7-8, for Biggs, about 10
