Hope you like this. We filmed this 3 weeks ago. It turned out pretty nice!

Funny. This kind of film fabrication makes me feel at work, that’s what I do for a living for TV. It’s quite nice : b roll on some spoken words to illustrate them (repeated if needed), live segments — which is my favorite part of work — unscripted and non rehearsed (or it looks like it at least), interview style reactions… That’s very different from what you do when you are in your studio, but I smile each time I recognize some of the processes we use in the industry (here in France, but I’ll bet it isthe very same in the USA ^^)… and the funny tone too.
Can you post the "Changes coming for 2024" video here, so we can comment on it? 3500 comments on YouTube...
It's always fun to see the 8-bit guy guest-starring as the expert! (even when he admits he's not an expert on this device) It was very nice of you to give these guys your time, David! A good opportunity to plug Petscii Robots and the X16 too.
I lasted about 45 seconds
Very cool for you to help them out with their Apple IIe. I really enjoyed this!
I find it incredibly unappealing when people make a show of being dumb. David, you were by far the star of this video
Funny, very different approach (and even you look a bit different when somebody else films you, David ;-)). Those guys don't look too smart to me, or are they just playing that? Very kind indeed to help them! (OK, I would also do that ;-))
Fun video ! I cannot help but giggle at a grown man wearing headgear indoors, and backwards..
What's funny about that?
Pesky robots? Hard drive? Yikes! Seems like a nice guy though!
Good point!
I like their pseudo documentary style. It is a new and fresh approach to retro computers. Is the guy with the hat really confusing floppy with hard drives or is this some joke that I am not getting?
Many people get them mixed up. I've even heard the system (tower) part of a desktop PC referred to as the hard drive, as if the monitor, hard drive, and keyboard were the three components of the computer.
Amazed how well that Apple II cleaned up, the top initially looked rusted, but merely filthy. Nice work.
TBF, Tesla doors are shit. It's like they were designed by chimpanzees that somehow got an elevated understanding of technology but zero understanding of how humans think.
Borderless doors are pretty nasty in cold climates but the door handles are just an IQ test that will be passed on to future generations by their parents.
