Google Drive search problem solution

For some reason the search in Google Drive "shared with me" folders doesn't work.
Solution:

install Google Drive for desktop
create a shortcut to the repository folder: in the web browser google drive, go to "shared with me", rightclick on the current month folder > Organize > Add shortcut
now you'll be able to search for files in Windows Explorer Google Drive.
