Morituri se salutant
Hans, Werner und Schnitzel were quite surprised when the artifact that they looted while retreating during the Allied attack in Italy began to glow and poof! transported them through time and space right in front of the rear guard of a Roman legion. Initial tension was relieved after exchanging salutes.
New supportless minis in the repository:
3 new WW2 Wehrmacht infantry soldiers. Let me know how their thin gun barrels print for you.
3 Roman legionaries, around 1st-2nd century AD. A bit of a challenge to do supportless and FDM friendly because of the thin pila/javelins and square scuta/shields. I decided to make the scutum a separate print that can be glued to the model. There are 2 shield variants, with and without ornament.
Happy printing!
More supportless minis coming shortly.

Romans are great and I’ve already got 20 printed and painted. Any chance of adding command figures, say a Centurion, standard bearer and musician? I plan to use them with the likes of Clash of Spears or Infamy, Infamy. Of course Auxiliaries, cavalry and appropriate opponents would also be useful.
I second the motion!
Everything about this, YES! Love the history from different era's sets. Makes for some great tabletop custom games!
Double yes! Romans!!
That's an unexpected crossover
