Well, maybe not that bad, but we're close. As you’ve probably guessed, there's no chance I’ll finish 0.7 by August 29. I really believed in that date, but the update is not only quite big (probably the biggest of all updates so far) but also pretty complicated when it comes to the code, and I’m drowning in this crap already. I know I've let you down again; my deadlines are always off, so feel free to crucify me. After update 0.7, we're going back to two-week updates until 0.7.9, so I hope you'll forgive me for this long wait (yet again).
The most important question: if not August 29, then when? The thing is, I picked the 29th as the ultimate deadline (I really believed in it!) because that day I'm leaving for 6 days, which means I'll finally touch some grass, but it also means work will stop, which automatically gives us no progress until September 4-5.
When I get back, I'll dive right back into work, and I really don’t want to cut content and mechanics just to release it ASAP, so I'd rather pick a safe date. But again, I suck at dates, so let’s say the update will come out between September 14 and 25 (edited). I really need to consider whether these big updates even make sense and if it’s better to stick with a two-week cycle even for 0.x updates.

hey, just want to say that ive really been enjoying your game and her story so far and dont beat yourself up about it. id much rather see a game maker take a little extra time to make sure their updates are quality releases than to see them feel like they gotta cut corners in the name of deadlines. take what time you need. youre doing a great job!

If "touching grass"means what I think it does. Being able to center yourself and returning balanced, with a clear mind is infinitely more desiralbe, and productive. There are hundreds of things that you must do to give us an update, and only one thing that we must do, be patient. Enjoy your time away.

It made my heart ache a little because I was really looking forward to it, I was really sad, I just ask that next time don't set a date or speculate on one. Haste is the enemy of perfection, right?
