News From The Six Realms #17 - Update, New Writer, Next Side Project Reveal, and More
Hello all,
Quite a few things going on at the moment, so I thought it might be a good time to do one of these. Progress on the next update is coming along nicely, and the current plan is for the next release to be out by Christmas Eve at the latest. It will include, as usual; a turn bump, more ruler events and sex scenes, a new job for Alexia, and more work on the orciad story line. Also a few surprises, which leads me into my next announcement...
I've found a second writer to work on the game, and even though we haven't technically reached the goal yet, I've set him to work on the next update. It is my good friend Yron (of The Eternal Feast fame), and I'm really looking forward to seeing what he comes up with. He has very different interests than DM, which'll make for a nice contrast in content. I know you guys have been asking for dominant Rowan content, and that is more his sort of thing, so look forward to that in the near future. For the time being though, expect larger content updates.
Moving on, it has been a slower month than I anticipated (might be the first one in a year where the Patreon didn't really go up), so unless things pick up dramatically, we won't reach 5k. I have decided to reveal the next character from the side project this month anyway (since I have a load of cool animation / location / enemy art that Erick has been working on in his spare time piling up), so you'll be meeting her in the next couple of days. She's a very different "type" from Jess, so if Jess doesn't do it for you, she might. ;)
Two last things before I go - firstly, there's an art CG pledge backer level now available if anyone is interested in choosing a CG to be commissioned every month, and secondly, the current CG poll is ongoing, so if you have voting rights, you might want to get on that. The current leaders in the poll are the new Andras/Alexia scene, the new orc camp woman scene, and the second Rowan and Helayna scene.

Rowan can be dominant without being evil. Early in the game we got to choose his behavior mid scene, is he rough or gentle etc... it’s seems like the choices later on are simply do you want to see the scene yes or no. After playing through it again I can see how Rowan’s behavior is very submissive which isn’t bad for those that prefer it, but is forced on those who don’t. Getting to choose to allow Clax-Min to lead or to have Rowan just rip her top off allows players to make a choice. I’m all about choices and would love the option to see Rowan be more assertive with his partners. Pulling Some hair and slapping a rear hardly make him evil, it just makes him more dominant. I have nonetheless enjoyed every second of playing this game and look forward to watching it develop further. Keep up the good work!
It is about time that Rowan grows himself some balls and stops being an annoying sissy boy. The last time that he was a manly character was in the intro as he behaved dominant towards Alexia in a non evil way. After that he acted only once again dominant and that was when he forced himself on the trapped dryad but that was a rather evil and unfitting act for him, as this deviation of his normal behavior was quite unaccounted for. All other scenes felt rather forced upon him, even the one with the village girls, as he was always fighting with his own personality and so it seems he could only enjoy his own sexuality while he submits to Andras or indulges otherwise in male on male sex, as there he apparently does not have the same issues with guiltiness towards Alexia. I really hope that this will be a new start for Rowan’s character because at the moment all the game story from a non-gay point of view is somehow disappointing if you are not into NTR. The NTR content alone is carried by Alexia's presence and her development is way more interesting at the moment then that of Rowan, which you can see in the polls of the CG’s as Rowan sucks (literally). So welcome Yron, my hope lies within you.
You have gotten me partly wrong, it is not that I have complained about Rowan to be not evil enough. Indeed I even criticized that, as the dryad scene was so totally unfitting for Rowan’s character at that point of the story (and it still is). What I have complained and what I hope you might correct was this really annoying submissive character of Rowan. He is no hero, he is a fucking loser at the moment, he even looks like one, feminized in art and description. If Andras says lick my balls he jumps to the task immediately without regret or remorse. He has no qualms in engaging in all sorts of male on male sex, may he be his usual submissive character or the dominant one. In all these scenes he gives a damn shit about Alexia, as if she is not his beloved at all. But if he is forced to have sex with any other women then Alexia, he is whining like a little puppy, has regrets and feels so bad, that he even grows more submissive (X'Zaratl punishment scene) and he even gets submissive to Alexia (futa-cock sucking scene). All in all he is a damn submissive loser, a sissy boy, a paradigm of a cucky, he is not in the slightest manly. No straight fellow with a decent self-esteem likes to be this guy at the moment. Sorry, if the last sentence hurt some of the submissive out there, who like how he behaves. So it is not that he shall become more evil, and what you have described, that he essentially is a fairly decent and moral figure that is forcefully positioned to do all kinds of stuff that does not align with his current perception of self (or right and wrong) is true. But he is too submissive and too guilt ridden, he just has no backbone to stand his grounds in a decent manner, he has totally submitted himself and Alexia towards anyone who leers at them and especially her. I like NTR – I damn like NTR – but cuckoldery as a fetish has four pillars - dominant, voyeuristic, masochistic and submissive. I love dominat and voyeuristic NTR/cuckold behavior but I cannot stand an excess of masochistic and/or submissive NTR behavior. The only two things that are actually missing to make Rowan the biggest of sissy-boys would be to give him phimosis and a preejaculation problem. All in all Rowan is not fighting with his own personality when he engages in male on male sex, this fighting only appears if he fucks women, and this makes him submissive to the extreme. This is what has to be changed! It is true that he is forcefully positioned to do all kinds of stuff, but why can he not be manly and stand his ground, fight his course where he can without being the greatest of submissives, accept what he cannot change and use this to obtain more might to oppose the twins or even manipulate them without them knowing, that he and Alexia are the ones who manipulate them.
Since you have a new writer can we expect more adult scenes in the next release and moving forward?
He won't be doing a full work load til we hit the goal, but it'll probably be 5-6 scenes from now on.
