Here's some new CC of a category I haven't ever publically shared yet: CAS enhancements! This collection features base game compatible, simple, but (for me) essential range of items to clean up your create-a-sim experience.
☆ Included are 40 different, solid-shade CAS background replacements. A big, versatile mix of colors with a little bit of everything. Bright tones, some muted ones, and different shades of greyscale. You can only have one at a time in your game, so pick out on your preference, or switch them out depending on your mood changes. There's a lot of options to choose from!
☆ I am also sharing my personal CAS lighting replacement that I've been using for quite a few years now. It's very similar to the default lighting actually, but in the past, and to my surprise tbh, some people have been asking me to share it, so here it is. This CAS lighting is ideal for people who like the maxis base lighting, but want it in neutral tones instead. It keeps that exact aesthetic intact.
The main difference to the default maxis lighting lies in the color of the rim highlights. I've tweaked & tried to replicate the glow level values to resemble the intensity of the light effects as close as possible, but with a white/neutral tone instead of the blue & green colored rims that you can see on the before & after pics. It doesn't add any extra changes or shading, nor doesn't completely remove the backlights like other CAS lighting mods which remove the blueish hues, as I wanted to keep it super close to vanilla, just without the colorful hues.
☆ Works for humans (of all ages), pets, etc... Though you don't need any packs for it to work. Like the backgrounds, the lighting mod is fully base game compatible :) And again, keep in mind that this is a default replacement. You can only use one CAS lighting replacement at a time.
