Short: U.S. Airborne Rifle Squad Evolution (WW2)
I don't usually post here when I am feeding the beast with shorts, but this one is relatively long (2.5 minutes) and covers a topic I get asked about a bit. This covers the evolution of the U.S. Army's Parachute Rifle Squad during World War II. The personnel stayed basically the same, but the weapons changed with numerous TO&E updates after major operations. This also includes the weapons held in the platoon or company reserve that squads could be issued in addition to their own TO&E equipment.
