You might not like this game.
Okay, over at a certain forum a lot of people aren't happy with a lot of things. So I'm gonna explain a few things here too in case it's the same.
I wanted to be a little ambiguous before so that you can enjoy the journey along with the MC but people were unhappy about that too. So I'm gonna make a few things clear so you can cancel your pledge if any of this is a deal breaker.
Harem ending:
No harem ending. You'll be leaving the place in 6 months. You're a kid just starting your life, you're not about the settle down at the Halfway House and become a full time husband. Samantha is an adult, she might mess around with you but she's not gonna tie you down and make you stay with her. As for Ashley, you're relationship with her is complicated. She might mess around with you but you will never truly have her... No one will.
Girl you end up with in the postscript (epilogue)
This will be Emily. I thought this would be obvious since she's the only one with LP. LP is mainly use to determine the ending. You can romance and spend time with and do all kinds of shit with the others but due to plot certain reasons you have to end up with Emily. But you get the rest of the game to spend time with everyone else.
"But, you said on your Patreon page that Emily is only the 'main love interest' not the only one."
I know that, you know that (because I told you) but in-game the MC doesn't know that. All of 'em are a love interest to him, he's gonna go after anyone he think is cute.
NTR/SHARING/OLDMAN and whatever else folks might not like:
There'll be no NTR. Sharing will be up to the player. Old man will be up to the player. They won't cheat on you. It's your choice to share or keep them to yourself. Also most the of weirder shit will be confined to the bonus scenes. Bonus scenes are a way for me to have fun and not burn out working on the main game.

So that's how it is. If any of this is a deal breaker I completely understand. This is my first game and my first Patreon. I don't have all the answers. I'm just gonna do what I like and hope no one hates it too much. Coz I can't make everybody happy.

Being someone that grew up in the "SYSTEM" as we used to call it,. If you ended the game any other way some of us would hate you for it. Keeping the ending real even though the game is based on fantasy is what will keep player like me around for your next game because I loved this one and can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Az, the whiners are gonna whine, but what you've produced so far is incredible. You're driving this bus. I am, and always will be a huge Emily fan. My only request would be that since the MC and Emily have had such a long buildup, please, for the love of God don't make Em's first experience some kind of quickie. This is a novel, so I'm expecting all the emotions from her. You are a master at conveying things with the face and eyes, so take your time and drive us wherever you will. I'm here for it.
Personally, I love the game as is. Although I'd be lying if a part of me didn't wish that Ashley was a possibility. I can understand it though with as complicated as her family situation is, that would require alot of work to flesh out. What I'd like to see, to be totally honest, is another game after Halfway House centered around the MC and Ashley and their life after they leave the halfway house. Samantha, Monroe, the old guy and Ashley could appear occasionally as supporting characters along side others that Monroe helped like the girl at the coffee shop. But that might just be me. I tend to day dream alot and have all kinds of "fan fiction" going on for what happens after their probation at the house.
Apparently some people don't know what a halfway house is (not a permanent place to build a harem). I guess it's good to know that all planned endings are basically different flavors of Emily. Though I'll admit that's kinda unique in the hundreds of AVN's I've played over the past 5 years, at least with the ones where there's more than 1 girl (just about all these days). Usually just about every fuckable girl has their own ending or 2. As long as it's not a forced sad ending no matter what choices you made, I hate those even when it's necessary to set up a sequel (eg Summer With Mia 1 and 2).
I love the game and plan on continuing support, but I have to be honest that I am sad that Ashley isn't a possible end-game love interest. Emily is nice and all and I don't expect Samantha or a Harem ending, but man do I really love Ashley as a character. I just so far find her backstory and emotions so much more compelling than Emily, though I am also not generally attracted to bubbly women like her. Ashley has that confidence and attitude that are great, but also an emotional and vulnerable side. Though if I had any request, and please take this with a grain of salt, it would be that Ashley and Luis ***not*** end up together. lol. I just don't feel like they have any real kind of energy together and it would just feel forced in my opinion.
I also like the game, we can't wait for the sequel and hopefully a season 2 if the game is almost finished and with more fights please, it lacks a bit of action and danger etc. There's a bar and a nice street to meet shady guys and therefore make fights, a Dojo for the protagonist to train why not kick boxing and meet a beautiful muscular hot woman who also does it. I help a little by adding ideas. I don't know if it's planned but a good RPG would be nice too.

i like the format, and i kinda figured emily would be the only keeper. and i do like the part where i could make some time with other women. its alot like real life, but, without any real risk of getting stabbed by them, for real, lol.

You are the creator....so fine whatever You wrote...if, and only if, an opinion could be useful, maybe evaluating some sort of development of relationship with Ashley (why not even a messed and fun one like till now) as possible alternative to Emily would be appreciated and why not, even a quite challenge for You too...but keep this all as an opinion...Just pledged so last in having rights to speak...
Personally i dont want the game to have an ending lol :p i want to keep having sexual experiances with the girls haha :p i feel like its a bit a shame that there is no harem option, but at the same time it gives possability to play teh game 3 times, one where you focus on each girl so that is kinda cool! just as a side note, i have not finished the game yet, but so far i love that Ashley likes it rough and to be put in her place, so i hope that continues. but yeah so far its a freaking awesome game, keep up the good work! <3

I'm sorry to hear that there will only be one possible ending — it makes player choices feel sadly trivial. Endings don't need to be happy and optimistic to be impactful and excellent. A bittersweet or even melancholic alternate ending would be far better than no alternate ending at all. Reference the outstanding Acting Lessons game as an example of how multiple endings can be accomplished with substantially different characters and without a harem option.
Harem endings get so boring after a while. Like the way you are putting up this game :)
I think folks were also disappointed about the fact that only Emily has tracked Love Points. And that I said they gonna walk off into the sunset together after the fade to black. But it's not really that... we'll see. I hope it'll all make more sense to everyone as we move further along.

I wont complain about the no harem ending although I admit if the story and characters are done well and likable I prefer this " everyone wins" kinda ending. I am a bit disappointed to find out that Emily would be the sole love interest (or at least the final one) since I personally was more team Ashley and recently team Shiho. Still this is your story and your vision, and while its good to take advice from time to time ultimately you should tell it in a way that's works best for you.
You'll get lot's of time with the other girls. Just as much as Emily. Well maybe not the doc, she's an extra. I don't want to spoil anything but I hope you can see why the Emily thing has to happen when the time comes.
Well, I didn't see this coming! I mean your post of coarse! I had already figured out the romance path so no surprise there. But I was disappointed that you were intimidated enough by the thoughtless braindead morons who were being so negative about your game that you had to spell it all out for them! I know that other forum well, and your best bet is to ignore them. There are games which get lambasted over there but are doing very well despite the criticism. Your best bet is to do what you want to do because it's easier to be motivated when you're working for your own idea and your own vision.
The people on the other forum complained mainly about the insight, that they don't get all the girls at the end... but that is actually a sign of a good novel according to the rules of drama, wherein the "good" guy always gets the (one) "right" girl at the end and falls in *love* with her. I would personally love to have a submissive path as well, where you end up beeing pushed around, used and treated just for fun as a toyboy - which is already implemented partially.
Nah man, this is what i liked the most about your game the fact that its not another cheap novel that you fuck everything that moves...Choices and decisions based on the Mc you build, its not about the ending but the journey for me at least...
I really like your game, im not sure really what ppl are complaining about, if i have the choice to choose which path of the game im going with i don't see an issue with that...People might got upset cuz they thought the only choice is Emily, from what i've seen here and on the forum including me so far im leaning more towards Sam maybe thats what all the fuss is about...
There will be plenty of Sam and Ash and Emily and some of the tiny doc as well. The story is about the journey and I'll try to make that part enjoyable. The end is a freight train, no one can stop it.

Aren't happy about what? A new game with likable characters and good-looking models, and a lighthearted coming-of-age story that manages to be actually funny without being absurd? Holy fuck people will complain about anything. That you have to end up with Emily is kinda disappointing but hey it's your story and as long as you keep up the amazing work I'll enjoy it nonetheless.
