Patreon disaster
Looks like I have taken a massive hit on Patreon. Lost a lot pledges.
I don't know exactly why and there is nothing on exit survey.
Are you not pleased with the game or the rewards?
Please let me know how can I improve.
I don't think it's related to update time, because the update came out last month and the ones that left, pledged just last month.
And the update time itself is something I can't do anything about. We have one pc and I'll have to wait for the 2nd one.

I think it is because of the patreon changes. You are not the only one "losing patrons" For example Zoey Raven.
Alan also lost a lot of patrons. He told me that it's no unusual to lose at the beginning of the month but this time it's bad.
It could also be the change in Patreon charges us (think more so for newer subscribers), and perhaps that affects when they pay out to you. Another VN creator had a similar drop that was unexpected and asked the same thing if there was anything they had done to cause the drop. Either way, don't get discouraged, as you are doing great, and I look forward to future updates.
Thank you very much ❤️
Holiday season is upon us. I generally cut back my expenses a bit in Oct, Nov, Dec. The game is fresh and releasing new content consistently. New supporters will come.
I guess the next two months are going to be like this then.
Copuld it be that you have been too successful in selling the current and future updates for a one-time price, making all those would bought that dump their Patreon pledge? I am doing this also to support you so i stay on Patreon, but from a money perspective, i could get That itch.io offer and apparently be done with all future costs for your game, which is too good of a deal.
That could be the case. But I don't treat Patreon as a marketplace. It's a platform to support for a long period of time. Since the goal is to be on Steam, I had to stop pay per update on itch and provide the future updates for a one-time payment.
