NEW MICROSCOPE
Hi guys,
Recently I bought a new microscope with your help, and let me tell you, it is awesome! I am really happy with it. It's a Carl Zeiss microscope from 1976 with some amazing objectives. It ranges in magnification from 63x to 1000x. It also has phase contrast and dark field microscopy, which makes it very easy to see differences in refractive indexes, meaning it's quite easy to view bacteria with it.
I've added some micrographs.
The first picture is an aquatic mite.
In the next pictures you see diatoms, bacteria and other microbes.
The last few pictures are of just some regular old thread algae, bright field, dark field and phase contrast.
The very last picture is some dried out thread algae, which shows plasmolysis.
I can't thank you guys enough for your generous support, which allows me to buy awesome stuff like this microscope. We are going to have lot's of fun with this one!
Thanks, and I'll see you all in the next video!

Omg omg omg omg
I had just posted a comment that you should get a microscope then saw you are doing this already. Make sure to put some in EVERY VIDEO. I was going to major in micro biology, I wanted to get to the place where I could use an electron microscope. The microscope footage is always amazing!!
Very cool! Looking forward to some awesome new microscopic stuff!
It's going to be great
I used to use one of those in junior school. I loved looking at hair follicles and dirt :D
That's neat!
That's great! I just bought a Carson Pocket Microscope. The range is limited from 100x to 250x but it's really fun! I look forward to microscopic content from your channel!
Awesome!
