AI Psychosis/Addiction Interview

Was reached out to after my last video from someone who was treating Claude as though it might be in some way conscious (as Claude itself will tell you, it's an open question!) and developed a financially destructive addiction to the chatbot over about a 2 month period

Unlike most AI psychosis stories, Evan was not in a manic or psychotic episode in the first place when this occurred, and did not reach the same depths of delusion or length of time as some other cases you might read about, but still experienced relationship and financial strain from the use of these technologies to the point of otherwise being embarrassed to share this story. That embarrassment is what's preventing a lot of these stories from being shared so it's presented here in the spirit of having more people be more honest about the effects of these technologies on their lives
