Vitor's Laboratory Feedback Poll - May/2021

Hi! If you are reading this post, it means you are one of my patrons. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for supporting Vitor's Laboratory. Your support is always welcome and important for keeping up with more SNES related projects.

Every three months, I would like to hear from each patron a more detailed feedback: what's been going positive; what's been going negative and your expectations for the future.

The first thing I would like to know is how much are you happy with my current work and projects. You have "Very happy", "Neutral" and "Unhappy" as options. The poll will stay open for 72 hours.

The second and last thing I would like is a personal feedback message for me! You're free to either comment this publication (if you would like to other patrons see it) or message me directly. Feel free to comment what you are currently liking on my work, what is not going very okay or any suggestion for improving Vitor's Laboratory. This is important to understand my patrons expectations, which will let me know set up future projects or change something in the Patreon, Twitter, GitHub or YouTube pages.

Thank you and a have great day/night!

I'm very happy with your work. I found out about you due to the SMW widescreen patch video, and I'm so hyped for it's release. Hoping for more widescreen patches later.

The sa-1 fixes are incredible. The widescreen mods are very exciting too but the only way I would be able to play them is if the super nt got an update to be able to handle them. I'd like to see super double dragon get a boost eventually. Thank you for everything you do vitor.

Voted "Neutral" but overall I'm fairly happy with what you do. Thing is I still want you to feel like you can choose to work on whatever you feel is fun. I like the idea of doing some of the games on the SNES justice by revealing their full potential with SA-1 and fast-rom more than adding features like wide-screen but really, as long as you having fun doing it I'm more than fine with it. One thing I lament on the SNES is the lack of homebrew. Not saying you should look into developping games but if there are some people working on games it would be nice that they ask you to contribute.

I always liked your SA-1 ROM Hacks. When I saw you were struggling I figured I could through a few dollars you way. I'm also a fellow Brazilian but US born, my parents were born in Brazil. I know they are having hard times out there and I see you working to make some money on the side. I love your projects, keep up the good work!

At first, that 16:9 SMW thing you did caught my attention. After that I found out your Github and saw that you have many more SNES optimization projects with impressive results. And I'm especially excited about the future StarFox project. To the point that I started to read some introductory articles and videos about 65816 assembly. Keep up your good work, Vitor. You are inspiring people.

I'm anxiously awaiting the SMW widescreen hack! Most of the games you've been working toward improving were games that I grew up with, so seeing them treated with love and respect had been wonderful! Please keep it up and do whatever you feel is the best in your heart!

I'm very happy, but I'd echo Le Duc comments. I'm only interested in original games running better on original hardware.

This might be one hell of a wildcard to put out there but, That recent Sonic the Hedgehog SNES homebrew. Could that thing also be improved to run even faster and more stable with the SA-1?

Aww yisss. Blast processing on the SNES.

I find your work great and you are indispensable to the SNES scene. But personally, I'm not interested in anything that can't run on an original Super Nes. There are so many games that deserve a boost. Having said that, it is probably more interesting for you to vary your work and work on Super FX or Wide Screen for emulator. I wait patiently for you to come back to the basics; eliminate slowdowns in SNES games. The 2 future games that I would like to see fluid are UN SQUADRON and POKY and ROCKY. :-) Good continuation!

I love the work you’re doing. I don’t really have any expectations, but as long as you continue to do what you consider cool or interesting and posting about it, I’ll continue to support you here.

I just like seeing what you come up with. TBH I haven't had time to play any of your patches yet I just want to support. Keep it up!

I’m blown away by how much better some of these games run with the SA-1! Keep up the awesome work!

I enjoy your passion and am glad to be part of the ride. My SNES is permanently connected because of your works and a couple others. It was my favorite era in gaming and it’s even better now. Thank you.
