I am having an emergency
I haven't been home since I was chatting a bit on discord yesterday, and I don't know if I'll even get back home today. I have not been able to finish Rais's dates, which needed more work and additional testing.
I can't believe this is happening, I'm sorry. I will post the patch as soon as I can. It may be tonight or even in a few hours if I'm lucky, but Rais's date content will probably have to wait, but I might be able to finish it, but I'm already so exhausted, I don't know if I have even a few hours of work in me right now. I'll try really hard, though.
I really can't believe this is happening. This same fucking shit happened when I was trying to release the Hex alpha to patrons, though I didn't really talk about it, I wound up having a ton of problems literally the day before that was supposed to release and just could not fucking get home to work on anything, and that release, while technically on time, was such a fucking mess and so increildibly stressful, and now it's happening again. I should just never fucking set dates. This is why I'm so nervous anymore about doing that, some ridiculous shit always happens the day before I promise I'm going to release something.
Anyway, I'm sorry. I'll try my best to get the update out today. As it is I basically have to cut some content, it's so fucking disappointing. I'm so sorry. I already announced to everyone everywhere that today's the day. I have to get this release out somehow.

Thank you for your understanding everyone. I am on my way back home, now. I will probably not do much work on the patch, I will release it with what's ready to go, and patch in additional content in a few days after I finish it. I was quite stressed when I posted this and it shows, sorry about that.
Rest and relax, if you have to delay you have to delay. All in all it's not a problem really, we enjoy your work when it comes. Little tip if you wanna set release times to target, don't give hard days publicly. You can set them personally if you really want, but give the public a window rather than a date, maybe a week or so, maybe more if it's a really big update. That way if something comes up, you have time for putting it together as you can rather than compromising things to meet prior deadlines. Another way of putting it from someone wiser and far older than I, "if you have to force it, it's likely not gonna play out how you expect it, let it come naturally"
This is a good idea and what I'll start doing. Specific dates have been nothing but trouble for me.
Don't let it stress you too much <3 considering many devs will delay by weeks or more, its very admirable that you wanna stick so heavily to the dates you set, but your mental health is worth a lot more than just a couple days wait time for an update and I'm sure most of your players would agree, especially those who support you on Patreon
