Basic modding docs

Improved docs with better organization and with included examples and guides (possibly even video guides) will be coming soon. But for now, here are the docs that are available for your perusal.

• Basic docs (lists most basic macros, APIs, and engine features)

• Hollywood docs (for VN cutscene scripting)

• SugarCube docs (Hex's engine is based on a fork of the Succubus Stories engine which itself is based on a fork of SugarCube from 2019; but so much is different compared to the current version of SugarCube that only the basics of these docs are still relevant.)

If you want to try experimenting, why not start by trying to write a simple hollywood scene?

You can also take a look at the JavaScript APIs and Macros in the basic docs and throw them in a modded passage (click here for a video on how to set up a basic modded passage) to experiment with them.

If you want to make a mod, the best way to start is to join the Discord server and ask questions there! I monitor the discord and I'll answer questions regarding modding and help troubleshoot and provide examples!
