You know the way things are going, the Dranglaex are starting to convince me they really are superior and maybe they should just rule the galaxy.

The soldiers were unaware of the traitor, then. Kelias may or may not have been aware of one, either. If he was, then he's paranoid enough to no reveal this even if it's of no great consequence. If he wasn't, then they might not have that many assets within the Federation after all.

Well, I effectively predicted this. It seems like from a practical perspective the Federation really stands no chance whatsoever in this war. I mean, apparently the federation is just TEEMING with all sorts of traitors within it's ranks, and yet I guess they have zero agents within the Dranglaex? I mean that's going to make for an extremely 1-sided war. All they need is 1 guy with a bomb on any of these extremely low security Federation cruisers to take them out. The only real possible bright spot is that this particular Dranglaex leader is a complete hotheaded idiot and is just as likely to be a detriment to the Dranglaex with his own starcaster as a benefit.

We don't know that for sure. Kelias was either unaware of the traitor or paranoid enough to distrust his soldiers even if it's of no great consequence. The bomber certainly seemed deranged. I mean, you can sort of understand Markko's motivations, but I can't understand how there could be sympathy towards the cause of the Dranglaex when they leave zero doubts about their intentions. I mean, it's hard for me to imagine how a cult of the Dranglaex could be cultivated within the Federation. As for agents within the Dranglaex, the only glimmer of hope is if some of them are not racial supremacists and understand the threat that their leaders pose and work from within. Such and element could cut off Vectanix from his life support and remove his starcaster, leading to his untimely demise, which would be an interesting turn of events considering Kelias was warned to not leave until Vectanix is healed.

Oh that is VERY bad

I dont think its over yet. If a starcaster can heal fast enough to prevent amputation, it might be able to deal with a bomb.

Actually, I thought he aimed to get all 3 starcasters. Leaving the other 2 doesn't sound very like him. He can win the whole war here and now, why letting them go?

He only expects to see one here.

I mean. We all basically could *guess* it would head this way. I just hoped that something else would happen before it got to this. Kelias is waaaaay too loose of a cannon to want him to have the arm laser. Though maybe he'll go big or go home right off the bat, and kill himself in the process.
