Well, this went from bad to hell in a handbasket quickly! People didn't bring their thinking hats to this cluster--censored--. XD
So now, because we decided not to try and negotiate, but cut and run, a major Fed ship is damaged. And, potentially, so is the only Fed starcaster-weilder. Minutes before a major offensive against the main Dranglaex fleet that has at least 1.5 starcasters. And all Fed ships have already received the jump coordinates. The only way this could get worse for the Feds is if the captain somehow manages to deliver yet another starcaster into the hands of Dranglaex (for example, he decides to jump into the action, hoping that La'ni recovers, or, maybe, there is another traitor on board of this ship). But I don't think that's going to happen simply because I don't think we've seen any Dranglaex with a name besides the two brothers. :-)
Looks like the bullet zipped his shoulder, but still, sudden pain and a charged Starcaster don't make for a good mix. The Captain is definitely going to see his head on a spike over this (Maybe literally) if the Triumberate doesn't pull some serious strings to keep him in the fleet for this SNAFU. Edit: I got brought back to this two months later by Robert's comment, and it leaves me cringing at the typos I made back then. I'm just going to leave them in place, because fuck it.
Theres no way they are staying with the fleet, this ends with our intrepid little band on the run in thier tiny ship from everyone.
I wonder how many Feds we just killed because these idiots shot us.
I've seen toddlers with more tactical sense than the federation. Seems there are two different types of federation officers. Bribed, and incompetent.
Yeah, how many layers did that just go through… That won’t end well! However I see a quick escape possibility for them on their ship.
And they just so happen to have a pilot standing nearby.... well played
presumably the starcaster will heal it...
...but not the ship
