Update 8.5.1 - Theo Moving out
Hi gang.
Everything is ticking along at Bimbo HQ.
Looks like we are still on track for our next release date on the 30th. The club is getting ready to open and they need to find dancers. This means a little influx of new characters and a cameo from one of Jim’s earlier works. Honestly, I can’t wait for you to meet some of the new girls.
8.5.1
What’s this? It’s a mini update. We had quite a big bug at the end of the game. It didn’t stop anyone from seeing all the content but we thought we had better fix it.
Also, as I had mentioned before, we wanted to add in a small scene of Theo telling Randall it was time for him to move out and give him and Sue some space. It’s only short and that description pretty much sums up the scene, if you don’t want to go back through episode 8 but you can know it’s there.

Bully NTR Trigger
The other notable change is that Scarlet now has to have slept with Theo before the Bully NTR route can be triggered. I realised that there were conversations that referred to Randall sharing her so I needed to make sure the player had actually shared her. It also made more sense to me that she would feel that the relationship is more open if she had done that to justify her actions a bit more.
Just be aware of this if you didn’t share Scarlet and still got the Bully NTR route. It shouldn’t be a big issue but it may impact saves. That said, that’s why we built the chapter select screen, we knew we would mess up saves.
If you get an error regarding the variable “R5_ScarletSleptWithTheo” that refers to the change. Start a new episode or ignore it.

The Animator issue
So far so good but everything is on a tight deadline. We are contemplating moving the release dates around a bit but we haven’t decided entirely. If we do, we will think of joining two releases together so we don;t have to worry about making a build and can focus on making content.
We’ll keep you informed when we make a decision.

I’ve been ploughing through the Release 11 script. Oh my, it has a lot of sex in it. Too much? Surely not but I need Jim to go over it and tell me if I’m being too ambitious. Don’t worry, we can always move some of the moments around if we need to. We’ll not lose anything.
Now it’s editing time. It’s always handy getting that extra set of eyes on things to highlight what I might have missed.
Anyway, enjoy the mini update if you like and I’ll get back to it.

Can anyone tell me how to unlock scene 19 and 20?
That's great news! I wasn't a fan of him moving in in the first place. Some Feedback and Suggestions: During the sleepover of Theo and Lucia, when Lucia wakes up horny during the sleepover, she goes through all the characters/options leaving only Theo up as the obvious and then decides to just go to the bathroom. The game does a great job so far for decisions and behavior of the MC to impact how the NPCs think, behave and what they do or don't do. But here, nothing impacts how Lucia acts in this situation, instead the player gets to make the choice for her (bathroom/theo) and making the choice for an NPC always feels like wishful thinking, especially if one of the choices is clearly more fitting to the situation, the dialog, and thoughts of the NPC than the other choice. Maybe add another line after thoughts for Lucia where she thinks about Theo after thinking about Sue and MC + Scarlet that gives a founded reason why she doesn't consider him. (E.g. she thinks he's a nice kid but too much of a sub and she's not interested in that (anymore) and more into the dominant behavior the MC recently showed her.) Even better it would be if the prior behavior of the MC towards Lucia already impacted her decision making and there wouldn't be an NPC choice at this situation at all anymore. I mean, I already always picked the best choice when the MC interacted with her and therefore am on her LuciaRomance route, but she still considers visiting and fucking Theo... it's like all the progress I made with her so far were for nothing. I mean later on during episode 6 when she visits the MC in his room, she even says she's off her game recently. So this Theo option just doesn't fit into her progress. Another suggestion: Instead of going straight to the bathroom (which feels so out of character for her), she could also peep on MC + Scarlet (as it's what I would have expected from her character in this situation), then she cums rubbing herself and goes to the bathroom to clean herself just when Sue wakes up and goes peeping herself. Or Sue could walk in on the masturbating Lucia in the bathroom after she (Sue) was peeping on the MC. (Currently the whole sleepover feels like a huge setup for Theo, so some more MC related or Girl only content here would be great.) (And yes, there is the meta toggle to turn choices off, but that doesn't solve the problem of Lucia's train of thoughts to feel off and also there are other decisions I would like to make, like the one I want to give my feedback about further below.) Bug: Also, at the end of the sleepover scene when Lucia leaves, the line "At least I know where to find you should I need you." she directs towards Theo shouldn't be displayed as it requires TheorNTR to be 1 or 3 which is not the case as I picked Lucia NOT to visit him at night. So thank you for telling me she went to the bathroom when In reality she didn't... (I gave it a quick check and R4TheoNTR is actually 0 so "if R4TheoNTR == 1 or 3:" doesn't work as you would expect it to) After Scarlet visited the new Photo Studio with Megan she does a little Photo shoot with the MC in his room and talks about being interested in Megan. On the non choice route there is no option to allow her to be with girls and with choices there is the option "I want you to be bad for me" which seems like a great choice as the MC basically tells Scarlet to charm other girls for them. I don't mind Scarlet to have some girl on girl action even without the MC, as long as she doesn't hide it from him and talks with him about it (beforehand or afterwards) and then they arrange a threesome. Or they have a threesome first but just as the MC has alone time with each of the two girls, the girls can have some alone time with each other as well. However the choice automatically locks in the Pimp/Sharing route for Scarlet and I do not want to share/pimp her out to other men. (Like the later option to pimp her out to Theo. Which isn't even a consideration for me. And I don't know why the game assumes it is, just from that choice of wanting to see Scarlet with Girls.) I would really appreciate it if sharing with another woman and sharing with another man would be more separated. In part one it was also possible to let Sue have some action with Lucia without Sue to have sex with other men. (Yes the first two scenes at the clothing store and the Sauna were without the consent of the MC, which isn't ideal, but it was mostly groping so whatever.) So letting a love interest to have some fun with another woman (with the MCs consent and knowledge) and for her to fuck other men is a huge difference, especially if the love interest finds new woman for the MC this way as a bonus. Looking forward to v0.9.0 🙂
Could you create a sort of list for cutting reelationship!?; sometimes certain characters become annoying. Just a question/suggestion
Is there already a post somewhere that explains what a zip file includes, I assume based on naming convention? I'm a dinosaur and non-gamer, and only started in Patreon games last year. Hard to know what I need to keep when a new file comes out. Since I don't know, I've saved everything. I've got about 15 zip files for MBD, Season 2, MBDK, etc and I probably don't really need all that. For example, does MBDS2-2.0.7 still include ch.1? Does MBDK include all the non-kingpin plot? Only interested in the harem plotline. Thanks.
You always want to be playing the latest version of the game as even if it's an NTR update as it may contain fixes for the other routes. You don't need to save all the old zip files. If you delete the game in the folder you extracted too, you save game files are actually stored in a folder called %AppData%. That means, if you delete the game and unzip the latest one, the save files remain. You don;t need to keep all the old game files. Free up some disk space. That said. I recommend using the episode skip feature when you start a new game as we often break old saves as we continue development.
Episode 6, after we bonk Cole's GF at the MC's house, with the sharing options turned off, the dialogue is taken from the Pimp path instead of the Harem path. Line 1164 in the code.

I would rather want to see the NTS route. I want option in future updates to make all girls dance and whore themselves in the Bar With Randal deciding when and which girl. Also if the game can avoid linear path here and make use of money revisit Bar system to keep Randal out of mafias firing line . Also allow Randall to choose which girl to meet with interaction and story line progression with girls subjective with bottleneck of minimum requirements to move story forward. Just a suggestion

Odds of me playing the ntr route are low. But I'm curious to see the difference in story. So sue and Theo tell MC to leave so they can bang and that's OK with him? Lol so if Theo is with Sue why should he take care of her anymore?

Nice catch. I've got zero interest in NTR or cheating tropes, and code errors that trigger (or even reference) routes I haven't chosen are confusing at best (you go back and start replaying at points thinking you screwed up somewhere)! I won't play 8.5 due to personal choice, but I don't want to be waiting on 9.0 and then be shoehorned into something I want no part of. Thanks 😁
