Your Boyfriend Updates!

We have received a massive influx of new Patrons in the last month. While we are excited and grateful, we are also concerned that perhaps quite a few of you fresh new faces are from the explosion of recent (and welcomed) attention to the YourBoyfriend project. So, just a quick update on that front: 

YOUR BOYFRIEND: DAY 3

Fuboo, Nat and I have been coordinating more efficiently on Day 3, with more frequent meetings. As a result, Nat is actively developing a Save/Load system for the game, which is about 90% done as of typing this. 

The story clocks in at about 150 pages (!!) for Day 3, which is going to be quite an undertaking, but we have set an internal deadline, as well as milestones so that we can expedite the long-awaited release of Day 3. What I CAN tell you is: 

1) It's HUUGE
2) It's shocking
3) It's coming SOON. VERY soon. Not 6 months from now soon. Not even 3. Soon.

Nat and I will be in the BSG Discord's "Live Dev" video streams more often, and we can answer "some" questions regarding BSG. And, hey, why not drop in to listen to the voice of Boyfriend?

PATREON CONFUSION? 

So regarding Patreon, we have updated the Your Boyfriend demo page with an important notice regarding supporting the YBF project.

Inverted Mind Inc and Black Shepherd Games are working closely together to make Fuboo's YourBoyfriend creation a reality. Fuboo has put a great deal of time, effort, artwork, and her own savings into bringing YourBoyfriend to life (for  better or worse, hahaha). 

That being said, we may not have made it as clear as we could have that IMC and BSG have a working relationship and a gentlemen's agreement that the "full game" (Days 1, 2, and soon 3) be exclusive to her Patreon. We at Black Shepherd Games are grateful for the occasional tip and a "thank you", but we are Fuboo's hired guns on this project. Just as Fuboo is hired guns for our impending "Harrow Home" horror game, which features a lot of her unique and fantastic artwork, style, and creative input.

We apologize if this wasn't made it as clear, and if new Patrons have perhaps donated to us in error we can help. Let us know in a private message and we will funnel your money to Fuboo, get you access to Days 1 and 2, and make things right :)

We will be offering more updates on YBF regarding the technical sides of things, as well as the budding survival horror game, "Harrow Home" in the days to come.
